Watch 20 Minutes of New Assassin’s Creed Shadows Gameplay

Prior to its launch on March 20th, Ubisoft has unveiled twenty minutes of fresh gameplay footage for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows title.

In the latest gameplay, characters Naoe and Yasuka can be seen sneaking into Nijo Palace, which is situated in the bustling city of Kyoto, a significant location within the Yamashiro area. This structure, often referred to as a tenshu, serves as the palace complex.

Youssef Garcia-Maguid from Ubisoft stated on the PlayStation blog that castles in Assassin’s Creed Shadows serve as strongholds, brimming with hostile guards, useful resources, and a single valuable loot chest. The act of capturing a tenshu requires eliminating all Samurai Daisho within the premises, granting access to the loot chest, which holds potent gear for you. You can preview the contents of these chests by moving your cursor over the castle icon on the map.

Garcia-Maguid mentioned that Castles are among the numerous tasks within the game that players can accomplish, which helps them boost their Knowledge Rank. Raising your Knowledge Rank allows players to discover more advanced skills.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches on March 20 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
