A player in Heartopia discovered a strange glitch where a big part of their car disappeared. The bug has gotten a lot of attention from the Heartopia community, with many finding it funny, but others seeing it as a reminder that the game still needs some improvements.
The game Heartopia launched worldwide in January and has quickly become a hit for its creators. It recently reached over 66,000 players simultaneously on Steam, and even now maintains a strong player base with over 47,000 concurrent players. While Heartopia offers players plenty to do, some bugs and glitches have been reported, as demonstrated in a recent player video.
Heartopia Player Shows Off Invisible Car
A player on Reddit, username Matotam_Illustrator, shared screenshots of a funny bug they found in the game. It made their car almost completely invisible! They joked it wasn’t a glitch, but a new invisible car feature. The screenshots show the player character floating in the air while seemingly driving – only the wheels, windshield, and side windows are visible. The rest of the car, even the steering wheel, has disappeared, making for a comical scene. Strangely, even though the car’s textures are gone, it still casts a normal shadow, adding to the bizarre effect in the game Heartopia.

This strange glitch isn’t new, but usually it makes entire vehicles disappear. This time, however, only the wheels and glass vanished. Because it happens often, players have been making light of it, comparing the effect to Wonder Woman’s invisible jet or the invisible boatmobile from Spongebob Squarepants. Several players have reported seeing others driving around in cars that are completely or mostly invisible, and one even spotted an invisible motorcycle. Since motorcycles are free in Heartopia, it’s probable that others have experienced this glitch with bikes as well.
A bug in the game Heartopia has prompted players to ask the developers for fixes, as it’s one of several issues they’ve raised. Many are unhappy with the game’s gacha system – the odds of getting desired items feel unfair and can be expensive. The developers have acknowledged these complaints, but some players don’t mind spending money in the game. Interestingly, many commenters have requested a feature beyond just bug fixes: an invisible car they’d be willing to purchase with real money if added to Heartopia.
This bug only affects how things look and doesn’t interfere with actually playing the game, though it might be annoying for some. It would be especially frustrating to spend money to unlock a vehicle in Heartopia and then not be able to see it! Players experiencing this can try restarting the game. They can also report the bug on the official Heartopia website. Luckily, there’s still plenty to do in Heartopia that doesn’t involve vehicles. However, with the current My Little Pony x Heartopia event offering a car as a reward, the developers should probably address this issue quickly.
