What Content Will Carry Forward To Black Ops 6 & Warzone?

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I have witnessed the evolution of Call of Duty from its humble beginnings to the colossal powerhouse it is today. I’ve been through Modern Warfare 2 and 3, and I can say that those games hold a special place in my heart.

The upcoming launch of Black Ops 6 is edging ever closer, bringing players the chance to dive into intense modes such as Multiplayer and Zombies, in addition to an exhilarating Campaign that serves as a sequel to Black Ops: Cold War. Although the prospect of fresh content excites many gamers, those who frequently play Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone might be curious about what elements will transition from one game to the next.

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that just like how Modern Warfare 3 introduced Carry Forward and let me bring my content from Modern Warfare 2 into the next premium title, Black Ops 6 is set to follow suit. However, it won’t be quite the same as the previous Call of Duty game.

What Content Will Carry Over To Black Ops 6 & Warzone?

As a gamer, I’ve got some news straight from Activision. They’ve made it clear in a blog post about Call of Duty that there won’t be any content from Modern Warfare 2 or Modern Warfare 3 transferred to the premium experience of Black Ops 6. So, if you’ve been earning weapons or Operator Skins, Camos, or Weapon Blueprints in those games, they won’t work in Black Ops 6. However, there’s an exception to this rule: the Woods Operator Pack can be yours for both Black Ops 6 and Modern Warfare 3 if you pre-order Black Ops 6.

Regarding the action in the “Warzone”, players can rest assured that they’ll continue to access content from both “Modern Warfare 2” and “Modern Warfare 3” even when “Black Ops 6” is integrated during Season 1. This implies that Operator Skins, Camos, Weapon Blueprints, and other items from these two games will still be playable within “Warzone”. Furthermore, players will be allowed to carry on using their preferred weapons from both “Modern Warfare 2” and “Modern Warfare 3”, even as the “Black Ops 6” content, including the Area 99 Resurgence map, gets introduced to “Warzone” with the launch of Season 1.
