Once you finish the extensive tutorial in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you’ll be able to freely explore Lumiose City. You can revisit the train station from the game’s opening, and you’ll find a train waiting there that will take you to the airport.
When players try to enter the station, a message appears asking if they want to stay in Lumiose City or leave. Many *Pokemon Legends: Z-A* players are curious about what happens if they choose to leave, as the game strongly encourages them to stay.
What Happens if You Try to Leave Lumiose City? (Adieu, Lumiose!)
If you select “Adieu, Lumiose!” in the game, you’ll be asked to confirm your choice, and you’ll see the same option again. Choosing it three times makes it *seem* like your character is boarding a train, and the screen fades to black. However, it’s quickly revealed that your character simply fell asleep on a bench near the Vert Pokemon Center – you never actually left the city. You can go through this process repeatedly, but it’s currently impossible to leave Lumiose City in *Pokemon Legends: Z-A*. This will change with the release of the Mega Dimension DLC, which will finally allow players to leave the city.
