Caligo, Fissure in the Fog weakness
In Nightreign, the dragon known as Fissure in the Fog, Caligo, Miasma of Night, has a vulnerability to fire attacks. This creature is also susceptible to strike damage and, given its type, it’s particularly vulnerable to anti-dragon attacks. It would be wise to equip your weapon with some form of fire damage before engaging this dragon. This can be achieved using the Night of the Beast relic.
If you’ve triumphed over any of the Everdark Sovereign bosses in the past, you’ll gain entry to a fresh shop. In this shop, you can adjust the Shifting Earth event to take place at Mountaintop. Reach the mountain peak to secure a substantial boost to your Frostbite resistance as a reward. Additionally, you’ll find several anti-dragon enhancements and the opportunity to conquer the dragon itself for even more lucrative rewards. This experience should prepare you well for facing Caligo.
Keep in mind that Caligo is quite resistant to various types of attacks. You’ll inflict less harm when striking it with slash or piercing weapons, as well as magic, lightning, holy, or cold affinities. It exhibits slightly higher resistance to poison, rot, and bleeding, but is even more resilient against frostbite and sleep effects. Avoid attempting any attacks related to Madness at all costs.
