Gauntlet Mode in Battlefield 6 speeds up the usual Battle Royale experience, and the REDSEC version is especially enjoyable if you understand its mechanics and how to achieve victory.
REDSEC has launched its main battle royale experience. Gauntlet Mode is part of REDSEC, but it’s a fast-paced, team-focused game that keeps you on the edge of your seat. With short matches and clear goals, teamwork is essential to avoid being eliminated.
This guide covers everything you need to know to get started, including the types of challenges you’ll encounter and how to make progress even if you don’t succeed right away.
How Does Gauntlet Mode Work In Battlefield 6 REDSEC?

As a Battlefield fan, I’m really excited about Gauntlet Mode in Battlefield 6! Basically, you and your friends team up in smaller squads, and you compete against other teams. You have to rack up enough points in each mission to stay in the game, and the last team standing wins it all. It sounds like a total blast!
Before we get into this deeper, check out the key fundamentals of Gauntlet Mode:
- It’s team-based gameplay.
- You score points for eliminations.
- You also score points for completing mission parameters.
- You need to be in the top few teams of each mission to advance to the next one.
- If you’re not, your squad is eliminated.
- The top player of losing squads has a chance of being redeployed to one of the progressing teams.
- There are infinite respawns.
- No circle.
- Each mission is different.
Gauntlet is similar to Warzone’s Rebirth Island, but focuses more on completing objectives. It still has elements of a battle royale – you’ll eliminate other players – but matches take place on smaller maps where you can respawn, and there’s no shrinking safe zone.
The game starts with eight teams competing in the first mission. That number decreases to six teams for the second mission, then to four for the third. Finally, the last remaining teams battle it out in an all-out war during the fourth mission.
How Do You Win Gauntlet Mode In Battlefield 6 REDSEC Battle Royale?

To win Gauntlet in Battlefield 6 REDSEC, your team needs to consistently complete objectives, achieve high scores in each mission, and ultimately be the best in the final round.
We’ve noticed our matches tend to repeat the same objectives, like Decryption, Deadlock, and Extraction. These usually involve finding and unlocking beacons, capturing and controlling areas to earn points, and then retrieving data.
Here’s every mission type you can get at random through all four stages:
- Circuit
- Contract
- Deadlock
- Decryption
- Extraction
- Heist
- Vendetta
- Wreckage
Some enemy types only appear during specific parts of the Gauntlet match. Also, keep in mind that each time you play, the missions will be mostly different and randomly selected.
Finish all four of your assigned missions, and then complete the final objective to help your team win Gauntlet Mode.
Can You Progress Without Winning In Battlefield 6 Gauntlet Mode?

If your squad is eliminated, but you earned the most points, you might automatically move on to the next mission. This happens if another team that’s still in the running has an open spot and needs a player.
It’s really motivating to play your best. Even if your team isn’t performing well, you can feel good knowing a strong individual performance can still help you succeed. That happened to me early on – I played exceptionally well in Mission 2, scoring a lot of points in Deadlock by controlling key areas. Even though we lost as a team, I was still promoted and moved to a new one!
So never give up hope in Gauntlet Mode!
