In the game Soulframe, Smite is an essential combat feature you wouldn’t want to miss out on. You may encounter it during your Pact level-ups, but its function might leave you perplexed. Here, we’ll simplify its workings so you can fully utilize it.
What is Smite in Soulframe?

In the game Soulframe, there’s a feature called Smite that can deal extra damage to enemies. Many weapons will display a Smite value, often written as “3 in 50” or similar, which signifies that you have approximately a 6% chance of triggering Smite with each attack using the Gwylen.
When Smite is triggered, the opponent will begin to emit light (either red, white, or green). In this instance, you can press the Spirit Vision attack button (currently E on a mouse and keyboard) to strike your enemy’s spirit directly. This attack should easily defeat most enemies, as you’ve likely already hit them multiple times to initiate the proc. However, they may not be completely defeated if they are of a higher level or simply some of the more durable opponents in general.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but appreciate the additional perks this ability offers, contingent upon your Pact and rank. For instance, you might find yourself restored each time you successfully execute an attack, which feels akin to a critical hit that demands a subsequent soul rip to unleash its full potential.
