In the world of Marvel Rivals, the Supermaster V-ranked bug is an astonishing sight to behold. It might seem like a symbol of success or advancement within Rivals, but it’s actually a peculiar incident that brings about significant changes in the outcome of ranked battles.
In this mode called Marvel Rivals, top-tier players engage in fierce battles. It’s a place where those truly committed show their mettle, aiming to rise through the ranks and ultimately strive for greatness worthy of joining the Avengers. Now, with Shroud considering establishing a Rivals Esports team and the game’s leader already talking about Esports strategies, ranked play seems like the initial step toward serious competitive gaming.
Yet, an issue with the Supermaster V character in Marvel Rivals gameplay seems to be causing disruptions. Here’s what we currently understand about it and its effects.
In this way, the text remains informative but is rephrased for a more conversational and engaging tone.
What Causes Supermaster V Bug in Marvel Rivals?
The Supermaster V issue occurs after a ranked game is deemed void due to reasons such as an insufficient number of players, idle actions, or forfeiture.
These problems might stem from connection troubles, inactivity on the user’s part, or sudden departures. To put it simply, if your ranked match progresses smoothly without a glitch, it will be a genuine experience with all elements appearing as expected. However, should any of these occurrences take place, Supermaster V might interfere and disrupt your day.
At the conclusion of a thrilling Marvel Rivals ranked battle, here I am to share an intriguing discovery – it’s nothing like the recognized tiers within the Rivals ranked structure.
NetEase has not made an official statement regarding the Supermaster V glitch, but we’re gathering information based on different players’ accounts of the issue. Take a look at X user @whyAndr3w’s game, where the error was experienced and reported.
Does Supermaster V Bug Change Your Online Rank in Marvel Rivals?
The impact of Supermaster V on your online ranking remains unclear, however, it seems that, if it does occur, the penalty won’t be overly severe.
Players in the invalid lobby who encounter the Supermaster V glitch may face an AFK (Away From Keyboard) penalty. While it’s not certain that this will always happen, there have been multiple reports from players expressing concerns about this issue.
As a passionate Steam user, I recently encountered an unusual situation: I won a game, only to receive a “Supermaster [V]” message, followed by a 15-minute penalty for disconnection. However, I assure you that my connection never dropped during the match. This isn’t the first time this has happened; it’s actually the third instance now.
Similarly, another Steam player narrated their experience: During a ranked game, everyone seemed to be experiencing poor connections midway through. At one point, I peaked at 1000 ping. To my surprise, at the end of the game, I received ranked progress showing “20/30,” and my rank was updated to Supermaster V.
It appears that not all situations are identical, as evidenced by JDlyndon’s post on the Marvel Rivals subreddit. They posted a picture of the Supermaster V screen after winning a competitive game, stating that instead of receiving the usual ranked points gain screen, they got this unusual one. They clarified that “There was no inactivity (AFK) during the match“, and it proceeded like a typical ranked match otherwise.
Currently, the results are tentative. Continue to follow along as we uncover more updates about Supermaster V, especially if there’s any commentary from NetEase.
