The first big update for Grounded 2, called Toxic Tangle, arrives on January 27, 2026. What To Expect From The Grounded 2: Toxic Tangle Update
As the first major update, players can expect quite a lot in the Toxic Tangle update:
- A new region called The Community Garden, with a vegetable garden, greenhouse, and a pumpkin patch.
- The return of old creatures, such as the Black Ant and Wasps.
- Completely new creatures, such as Earwigs.
- New crafting materials, weapons, and gear, mostly making use of the new creatures.
- A Ladybug Buggy tank with a water cannon on its back.
- A Snake colossus.
- New buildings.
- New quest lines.
