What to do with damaged weapons in Stalker 2

In the thrilling world of Stalker 2, when you spot a yellow shield icon on one of your weapons, know that it’s not completely shattered – it’s merely battered and in need of some TLC. You can still wield it in battle, but its performance might be compromised. On the plus side, this damaged gear can fetch you some instant cash. However, remember that its resale value will be lower compared to undamaged weapons. It’s wise to sell them as they are, rather than investing time and resources into repairing them, as doing so could only diminish your earnings in the long run.

To monitor the durability of a weapon, simply look at its Durability value, located beneath the weapon information displayed when you hover your cursor over it within your inventory.

If you’re not particularly attached to the firearm, it might be wise to sell it. On the other hand, if you enjoy using the weapon and wish to keep it, consider getting it serviced for safety purposes.
