Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, initially launched in 2003, has been a beloved masterpiece, enthralling countless gamers with its engaging storyline and innovative mechanics. Much like other Star Wars titles such as Jedi Survivor, it provides a wealth of customization options for lightsaber construction.
During your gameplay, you’ll encounter an unexpected predicament involving tiny creatures called Gizkas. These creatures have inadvertently found their way onto your spaceship and seem quite content to stay put. Here’s a solution for handling the Gizka in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
What To Do With The Gizka In The Ebon Hawk
In the epic journey through the Star Wars game, “Knights of the Old Republic,” every player eventually encounters an unexpected predicament: receiving unwanted Gizka on board the Ebon Hawk. This situation arises at some stage for all progressing players. You’ll converse about this with two characters – a Manaan resident named Nubassa, and the delivery alien who claims he cannot return the Gizka due to strict instructions to drop them off inside your ship. There are three ways to handle this predicament:
1. The harshest option is purchasing Gizka Poison from a vendor on Tatooine and administering it to one of the harmless creatures, causing the rest of the pack to succumb as well.
2. Alternatively, you can take them to Nubassa in the docking area of Manaan, either by paying him or forcing him to accept them for free. This choice is kinder, up until that point in the game.
3. If you prefer, you can simply tolerate their presence and continue your journey through the story, reaching the end of the game without any intervention. However, beware of potential spoilers if you proceed with this option (proceed with caution).
After gathering all the Star Map fragments, navigation will lead you to Rakata Prime, or as it’s alternatively called, Lehon. Upon arrival, your spacecraft is likely to suffer a crash. Soon after, the Gizka, which had been causing an infestation issue on board, will exit and disperse, effectively solving the problem. These missions, particularly the one involving the acquisition of Sith Armor in Taris, seem to present challenges that leave players puzzled. If you too have experienced confusion during these quests, remember there’s no reason to feel ashamed.
Where Are Gizka From?
As legend goes, the Gizka inhabit Lehon, also known as Rakata Prime. That’s why they disembark from the Ebon Hawk when it lands on this enigmatic tropical planet. Therefore, you should be aware that beyond Rancors, temples, and the renowned Rakatans, there may be a host of other species lurking on Rakata Prime, as suggested by the game but perhaps not fully revealed.
