What’s Going On With the New Diablo 4 Difficulty Levels?

As an experienced gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that Diablo IV has taken the difficulty levels to a whole new level. The return of the Torment system from Diablo 3 is both exciting and daunting, as it promises greater rewards but also more challenging enemies.

In the latest season of Diablo IV, one major shift you’ll notice is the revamping of the challenge levels. Gone are the World Tiers; instead, Blizzard has opted to re-implement the Torment system from Diablo 3. Although it might seem simple at first glance, the game proves to be more difficult than ever before. Here’s a rundown of the new difficulty settings in Diablo 4 when you’re setting up your character for Season 6!

An Overview of the Diablo 4 Difficulty Levels

Instead of advancing through World Tiers 1-4, Diablo 4 provides eight levels of difficulty, spanning from Normal to Torment IV.
