As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent looting and extracting in the harsh wastelands of Tarkov, I can confidently say that the upcoming patch 0.15 has me buzzing like a scav on Red Rebirth. The reworked Factory map, new weapons, and especially the introduction of Partisan, the game’s latest boss enemy, have me itching to wipe my stash clean and start fresh.
Previously, this latest server reset marked the longest duration in the chronicles of Escape From Tarkov. Consequently, many veterans like us are feeling quite eager to embark on a fresh start with all the exciting novelties that this new update brings – fresh content to discover, updated mechanics, innovative weapons, and more. Does Patch 0.15 Come With a Wipe?
It does, actually! The upcoming patch 0.15 for Escape From Tarkov is a massive addition to the game, with so much new content and mechanics that it warrants a wipe. Thankfully, for those who have eagerly awaited the next wipe, it’s coming on August 20. It will, of course, coincide with the release of the new patch.
The last cleanup or reset in Escape From Tarkov took place in December! That means it’s been around 230 days since the previous one, and let me tell you, my inventory is bursting at the seams. I’m not even feeling the usual gear anxiety; it’s just a buildup from numerous months of gameplay.
As I was away from my gaming screen, unaware, Arena Breakout: Infinite kicked off its Early Access. Now, I can’t help but wonder if Escape From Tarkov is feeling a bit of heat from the new kid on the block. The question is, should it be?
