The journey to the release of 2XKO has taken a while, but we’re almost there. Riot Games‘ 2-on-2 fighting game has had a successful closed beta, and popular players like SonicFox are already climbing the ranks in the competitive leaderboards.
I’m so excited! If you, like me, didn’t get a chance to play in the closed beta, we’ll finally be able to jump into the game starting October 7th. They announced the release date just about two weeks ago, and also explained why they’re doing this early access thing instead of waiting for a full release. It’s a smart move, I think! Can’t wait!
At first, 2XKO will only be playable on PC, and it looks like that will stay true while the game is in early access. Versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are planned for when the complete game is released.
If you took part in the open beta, you’ll be glad to know your efforts weren’t for nothing! Riot Games has confirmed that there won’t be any resets, meaning you get to keep all of the unlocks you earned.
When Can You Play 2XKO: Global Release Times
The official early access launch of 2XKO is happening on October 7th. However, players in some parts of Asia and Oceania will be able to start experiencing the game on October 8th.
