When Do Vendor Shops Restock in Crimson Desert?

In Crimson Desert, shops restock their items after a random period of time, anywhere from 2 hours to 10 real-time hours (equivalent to 1 to 5 in-game days). The game doesn’t show you when the next restock will be, or provide any kind of timer.

Additionally, some shopkeepers don’t replenish their stock, meaning players hoping to buy items from them will likely be out of luck. Here’s a closer look at what’s happening.

When Do Merchant Shops Restock in Crimson Desert?

Crimson Desert features 12 different kinds of shops and vendors, and each one restocks its items at a specific time. The table below lists each shop type and when you can expect new items to appear.

Shop Restock Time
Equipment Shop 5 in-game days (10 hours real time)
Provisioner’s Shop 5 in-game days (10 hours real time)
Fishing Shop 5 in-game days (10 hours real time)
Tannery 5 in-game days (10 hours real time)
Tailor 5 in-game days (10 hours real time)
Back Alley Shop 1 in-game day (2 hours real time)
Grocer’s Shop 1 in-game day (2 hours real time)
Butchery 1 in-game day (2 hours real time)
Street Shop 1 in-game day (2 hours real time)
Saddlery Never
Dye House Never
Furniture Shop Never

The Saddlery, Dye House, and Furniture Shop don’t seem to restock their items. We waited more than 30 in-game days – that’s 60 real-time hours – to see if their stock would refresh, but it never did.

A few players have said that finishing quests might restock items, but we haven’t been able to confirm this ourselves.

A vendor’s stock might be influenced by how close you are to their shop. If you notice this happening, you can either save your game and reload, or quickly travel to a different location and return to refresh their items.

Some items, such as crafting books, recipes, and unique treasures, can only be found once – there are no copies of them anywhere. Once you’ve found one, it won’t reappear, ever. If you accidentally get rid of one, you can get it back by speaking with Ben at the Howling Hill camp. If you sell it, you can buy it back from the same merchant you sold it to.

If you’re playing Crimson Desert on a computer, you can use the ALL Store Refresh Each Day mod to make sure all shop items reset every 24 hours, so you always have a chance to buy what you need.
