In the fourth season of Modern Warfare 3, players were treated to an abundance of new content. This included the introduction of the Reclaimer 18 and Kar98k weapons, as well as six versus six maps such as Incline and Tokyo. Warzone underwent significant updates too, with new game modes and map modifications. While Season 4 brought one of Modern Warfare 3’s largest content releases yet, it’s now time to get excited for the upcoming launch of Season 5.
When Does Season 5 For Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone Release?
On July 24 at 9 AM Pacific Time, Modern Warfare 3’s Season 5 and Warzone updates become available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Mobile players using Warzone Mobile can join in the fun on the same day. Pre-loading of Season 5 is possible for Battle.Net and PlayStation 5 users before release, but the specific pre-download time remains undisclosed as of now. What Is Coming With Season 5 Of Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone?
In the fifth installment of Season Reloaded, fans will be treated to an abundance of fresh content upon release. For multiplayer enthusiasts, there are two new 6v6 core maps: Bait and Yard. Moreover, players can enjoy cell-shaded versions of Shipment and Rust as alternative choices. Unconventional game modes take center stage, with COD Warrior being the most notable one. In this mode, three teams of two face off against each other in a sequence of mini-games. On July 31st, players can engage in Slam Deathmatch, an exhilarating deathmatch experience where points are earned by executing Finishing Moves on adversaries.
For Season 5, Warzone‘s battlefield sees a significant upgrade with the return of a beloved location, the Superstore, found in Urzikstan. This popular spot in Verdansk is now playable in Warzone Resurgence, adding more excitement and pandemonium. Regarding Resurgence, participants can join the Bounty Contest Public Event. During this event, all teams get a Bounty Contract, allowing them to aim for substantial rewards while being pursued by other squads. As for Warzone Mobile, new locations, such as additional Verdansk POIs, and the introduction of the Meat 6v6 Multiplayer map, are among the fresh content.
In addition to fresh maps and game modes for both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, players are excited about the introduction of new seasonal rewards for Ranked playlists in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Three new weapons will be introduced for both games, which can be obtained through the Season 5 Battle Pass. Some of these weapons are the Static-HV Submachine Gun and STG Assault Rifle. With the arrival of Season 5, not only Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Modern Warfare Zombies will receive new content, but this will also be the case with the release of Season 5 Reloaded.
