When is Cold Snap Being Released?
The Cold Snap update is scheduled to be released on December 16th, and will likely go live around 4:30 AM Eastern Time. While Embark Studios hasn’t officially confirmed the exact time, it’s expected to be similar to the North Line launch, which happened at 4:30 AM EST (9:30 AM GMT).
Cold Snap is the biggest update to ARC Raiders since the Stella Montis addition last month. It won’t add any new maps, but it will dramatically change existing ones by covering the world in snow.
This update introduces the Flickering Flames event to ARC Raiders. Details are limited, but it’s expected to be a challenging condition – players caught outside in the snow will likely take damage. It will work much like existing map hazards such as Lush Blooms, Harvester, and Prospecting Probes.
