In the game NieR: Automata, you’ll discover a variety of crafting resources essential for enhancing your weapons and pod. Some of these resources become more accessible as the game progresses, but locating them early in the game can significantly boost your character’s strength sooner.
As a gamer, one of the scarce resources I often seek out is Machine Arms. Contrary to its mechanical-sounding name, these aren’t as common as they might suggest. In fact, they can be quite elusive and may demand some focused farming during the early stages of the game. Here’s a promising spot to start my search.
Where To Farm Machine Arms In NieR: Automata
Machine Arms may fall whenever a small machine is annihilated, regardless of its type. However, the likelihood of their appearance increases as the enemy level escalates, making Machine Arms relatively scarce at the start of the game. To secure them earlier in the game, you’ll essentially need to boost the number of machines you can swiftly eliminate.
Following Chapter 4, I’ll lead you to my first encounter with Adam. The battle arena where we clash will be a relentless battleground, constantly respawning enemies for me to vanquish, with swarms of tiny machines popping up every now and then. To reach this point, jump into the fast travel at the Desert: Housing Complex access point and delve deeper into the ruins.
In the battle arena, fresh enemies will pop up shortly after the previous ones are defeated. These aren’t particularly high-level machines, which means the chance of getting Machine Arms as loot won’t be frequent, but the consistent spawning of these machines makes it your top strategy for gathering resources early on. This method is also effective for accumulating Titanium Alloy.
You can equip a Drop Rate Plug-In Chip to speed up the process, but only by a bit.
From here on out, I’ll be delving into some minor spoilers about the climactic phase of this captivating game.
Moving forward, I’ll be discussing some key plot points from the concluding part of this amazing game. Be warned, there might be a few spoilers ahead.
