In Crimson Desert, you need Cauldrons to craft potions, elixirs, dyes, and unique items such as the Palmer Pill. These Cauldrons are rare – there aren’t many in the game – and you’ll have to explore to find them, as their locations aren’t shown on the map automatically.
Where to Find a Cauldron in Crimson Desert
In Crimson Desert, you can find Cauldrons in towns and villages like Hernand and Pororin Village. Like with other useful spots such as bonfires, anvils, and grindstones, you need to have a character like Kliff carefully examine them to reveal their location on the map.
You can find your first Cauldron in Hernand, inside a house east of the Abyss Nexus fast travel point. From the fast travel point, head east and follow the road downhill. As the road curves back west, look for a house with a bucket sign and a striped awning. The Cauldron is inside, on the left side.
You can also find Cauldrons in Pororin Village, located near the Research Institute. While there are many Cauldrons scattered around the village, you’ll need to finish the “Unreachable Village” quest first to unlock access.
How to Get a Cauldron in Crimson Desert
In Crimson Desert, there is a way to get a Cauldron of your own. Here’s how it works.
- Progress the main story to Chapter 3 until you build the Howling Hill camp for the Greymanes.
- Head to the Furniture Shop in Timberham Sawmill.
- Select “Buy” and scroll all the way to the bottom.
- Purchase the Cauldron for 48.00 Silver.
- Enter the building and start placing decorations using the “Installable” option.
- Exit out of the menu, and you’ll now be able to use the Cauldron any time you want.
Fast travel to the Howling Hill camp and head to the “Home,” southeast of the camp.
Find the Cauldron and place it anywhere in the home.
You can’t buy the Cauldron at the furniture shop in Howling Hill camp. Instead, you’ll find Vincent at the Timberham Sawmill, and he’s the one who sells it.
