Adamantite is a valuable, high-level ore in Hytale, easily recognized by its bright red color. Weapons and armor crafted from Adamantite are powerful, boasting impressive stats. However, obtaining this ore can be dangerous, especially for players who aren’t well-equipped or prepared. This guide will show you the best places to find Adamantite in Hytale and provide helpful tips before you start your search.
Hytale Adamantite Locations
You can find adamantite in volcanic areas, which are usually located off the coast. These areas are easy to find on your map – just look for dark landmasses near the sea. They’re quite large and feature extensive underground cave systems.
There are two main issues you need to deal with when looking for Adamantite:
- Adamantite is exceedingly rare
- Monsters in volcano regions are strong
Adamantite Ore is very durable and difficult to mine, so it’s always a good idea to bring Repair Kits with you when you go looking for it.
We might be experiencing a problem with how the game creates worlds, as we didn’t find much Adamantite while checking out two volcanic islands. Adamantite should appear in small deposits both underground and on the surface, but for us, the majority of it was located near lava flows.
As you explore the islands, keep an eye out for sparkling crystal formations near lava flows – they often indicate a rich Adamantite vein below. We usually found about six Adamantite per vein. Be careful though! Enemies can knock you into the lava while you’re mining, so it’s a good idea to place a bedroll or Teleporter close by for a quick escape.
Create pathways to reach the Adamantite by building bridges, and stay safe from the lava by holding down the Crouch button. This will prevent you from slipping and falling off the edge.
You can often find chests containing Adamantite Ore or Ingots within ruins and villages located in volcanic areas. Because Adamantite is rare, we highly recommend checking every building you find – you might get more this way than by mining for it.
Exploring Volcanoes
When exploring new areas, always carry a water bucket. Volcanoes often hide large caves underneath them, which can contain valuable loot and ores. You can use a water bucket to quickly descend into volcanoes by creating a water elevator. You might also discover hidden dungeons or shrines filled with treasure, including rare gems like rubies and sapphires.
Underground Jungles
Underground jungles can be found in volcanic areas. Surprisingly, these jungles can still contain valuable Adamantite Ore, and you might discover chests filled with even more. If you get lost down there, follow any streams of water that flow upwards – they’ll either lead you to another cave or bring you out to the ocean.
