This guide shows you where to find all 80 Mini Medals in Dragon Quest 2 Remake. They’re hidden all over the world inside pots, barrels, treasure chests, and buried in the ground. We’ll list the locations as we discovered them, with the Isle of the Monarch of Medals covered at the very end.

MM 2 Midenhall Castle – 1F Found at the base of the statue on the left side of the priest.
MM 3 Secret Spot East of Leftwyne The Secret Spot is just east of Leftwyne, just before the poison pool. Mini Medal is found in the pouch hanging from a tree.
MM 4 Leftwyne Weapon Shop Found upstairs in the western flower pot along the southern wall.
MM 5 Cannock Found in the SE building, inside a cabinet.
MM 6 Cannock Castle – BF In a barrel against the western wall in the jail area.
MM 7 Secret Spot SW of Cannock Found in a barrel on the western side of the spot
MM 8 Cave of the Lake – B2 Found in a pot in the NW alcove.
MM 9 Gwaelin’s Gate – Underground Passage Found in a barrel just before the T at the south end of the passage.
MM 10 Moonahan Found in a barrel on the western side of the church, beneath the tree and against the far wall.
MM 11 Moonbrooke Castle Found at the center of the circular tiles along the northern wall of the castle.
MM 12 Secret Spot SW of Swamp Shrine In the basic red chest at the heart of the secret spot.
MM 13 Pillar of the Winds – 2F Found in a pot in front of the statue on the NW side of the 2nd floor.
MM 14 Pillar of the Winds – 7F Found in a barrel in the SE quadrant.
MM 15 Oasis Found in the ground at the base of the rock in the SW corner of the Oasis.
MM 16 Shrine West of Moonbrooke In a pot just before the passage that leads to the portal.
MM 17 Southern Dragon’s Horn – 6F Found at the center of the circular stone floor on the rooftop.
MM 18 Northern Dragon’s Horn – 6F Found at the center of the circular stone floor on the rooftop.
MM 19 Rippleport In the Rippleport Inn. Found in the drawer between the beds in the SE corner of the Inn.
MM 20 Secret Spot East of Dragons Horns Ship Required. In a pot on the island off the coast, east of Southern Dragon’s Horns.
MM 21 Shipwright’s Shrine Thief’s Key Required. Found in a chest on the western side of the main building.
MM 22 Secret Spot West of Cave of the Lake Ship Required. Found in a pot at the base of a tree.
MM 23 Tantegel Castle – 2F Found in a pot in the SE chamber.
MM 24 Erdrick’s Hollow – B2 Interact with the ground behind Erdrick’s tomb on B2.
MM 25 Galenholm In a chest at the end of the dock inside the large port structure. Enter the building, then make your way around to the NE end of the dock.
MM 26 Kol Found buried in the ground in front of the rock near the eastern wall.
MM 27 Rimuldar Found in a pot inside the Rimuldar church.
MM 28 Dragonlord’s Castle – 1F Buried in a diamond-and-circle mosaic in the NW corner of 1F.
MM 29 Sanctum Buried in the ground in front of the small statue in the NW corner of the interior square.
MM 30 Secret Spot SE of Damdara Buried in the sand to the left of the large palm tree.
MM 31 Cantlin Bank 1F. Enter the bank in the NW corner of town, At the northern end of the first floor, interact with the red tile.
MM 32 Shrine of Rain – 5F In a pot at the western edge of the center circle on the fifth floor.
MM 33 Lighthouse – 7F Found between the two large statues just south of the center of 7F.
MM 34 Secret Spot S of Midenhall Ship Required: Found in a pot in the center area.
MM 35 Secret Spot Island N of Dirkandor Ship Required: Buried at the corner of a rock along the east coast of the island.
MM 36 Beran In a bookshelf in the small house near the NW corner of town.
MM 37 Secret Spot N of Burrowell In a pot in the center of the desert secret spot.
MM 38 Yggdrasil’s Arbour In the SE corner of the small loop below the lake, in the SE corner of the main map.
MM 39 Zahan In a pot past the small poison pool in the NW corner of town.
MM 40 Faerie Palace – 3F Buried at the edge of the dirt near the end of the path on the western side of the throne area.
MM 41 Secret Spot SE of Faerie Palace In a barrel on the west side of the large rock
MM 42 Mersea – Royal Square Found in a pot almost obscured by the large conical shell pillar in SW Royal Square.
MM 43 Tantegel Magic Key Required. Tantegel Inn. Found in the hanging pouch behind the Blue Door.
MM 44 Dragonlord’s Castle – B6 Magic Key Required. Use the portal to return to B6 — found in the lone Blue Chest in the treasure room.
MM 45 Secret Spot W of Moonahan Magic Key Required. Found in the sole Blue Chest.
MM 46 Slewse Found in the house on the NE side of the dam. The medal is in the cabinet on the left.
MM 47 Secret Spot W of Slewse Found in a barrel.
MM 48 Shrine E of Slewse Found in a basic chest on the western side of the shrine.
MM 49 Den of Iniquity – B1 Found in front of the dress stand in the SW corner chamber on B1.
MM 50 Tower of the Moon – 3F Found in the small space between stairs at the northern end of 3F.
MM 51 Volcanic Grotto – B3 Annex Found in a red chest on a separate section of B3. You must use the easternmost stair set on B2 to reach this section of B3, then head west to find the chest.
MM 52 Sunken Ship In a basic chest on the eastern side of the ship.
MM 53 Western Seabed Storeroom In the far-right chest in the eastern treasure chamber.
MM 54 Northern Sea Lord’s Lair Found near the gold pile on the eastern side of the chamber.
MM 55 Eastern Sea Lord’s Lair In the basic red chest on the eastern side of the chamber.
MM 56 Southern Sea Lord’s Lair In the basic chest near the living memory.
MM 57 Passage to Rendarek – L4 Fall into the breakable holes in F5 to reach the desired F4 map. The medal is in a chest in the NW corner.
MM 58 Passage to Rendarek – ??? NO MAP: In the second section without a map, take the eastern path out of the main chamber. Head up the stairs, then make a left when you reach the T. Make a right at the next T. You’ll quickly locate a basic red chest near the large stalagnate.

MM 59 Secret Spot NE of Rendarek Shrine Found in a pot at the base of the tree.
MM 60 Shivering Shrine Found in a chest against the western wall of the shrine.
MM 61 Dragonlord’s Castle – B5 Ultimate Key Required. Found in the ultimate chest in the southern section of the floor. It sits at the dead end above the path that leads to the large square section and exit.
MM 62 Shrine N of Beran Ultimate Key Required. Found in the ultimate chest inside the shrine.
MM 63 Burrowell Ultimate Key Required. Found in the western jail cell, across from Elmoo’s cell.
MM 64 Dirkandor Castle Ultimate Key Required. Found in the haystack within the animal cage on the western side of the throne room.
MM 65 Northern Seabed Storeroom Ultimate Key Required: Found in a basic chest in the western treasure chamber. Ultimate Key is required for the main door to the chamber.
MM 66 Grave of Galen – B3 In a barrel just below the NE corner of B3.
MM 67 Secret Spot NW of Tower of the Moon Found in a barrel along the northern edge of the secret spot.
MM 68 Hall of Hargon – 2F Found in a basic chest on the eastern side of 2F.
MM 69 Citadel Tower – 4F Post Game: Found in a chest in the NE corner area of 4F. Enter the light at the back of Faerie Palace to enter Cloudsgate Citadel.
MM 70 Cave of the Dwarves — B1 Post Game: Found in an ultimate chest at the center of B1. Must find all seven Living Memories to unlock the cave.
MM 71 Cave of the Dwarves – B4 Found in a chest in the NE corner of the chamber of the portal.
MM 72 Cave of Confusion Chamber 8: In the Galen’s Grave section, you’ll find the medal in a barrel along the southern path. Post Game.
MM 73 Cave of Confusion Chamber 12: Found in the ground in the center of the square section in the SW corner. Post Game.
MM 74 Cave of Confusion Chamber 20: Found in the pot in the SW chamber.
MM 75 Cave of Confusion Chamber 23: Found in a barrel close to the center chamber.
MM 76 Isle of the Monarch of Medals In the ground in front of the fountain.
MM 77 Isle of the Monarch of Medals Buried in the ground in front of the statue on the east side of the island
MM 78 Isle of the Monarch of Medals Found in the sand on the western beach.
MM 79 Isle of the Monarch of Medals Found in a pouch hanging from a tree on the eastern side of the main building.
MM 80 Isle of the Monarch of Medals At the end of the small stretch of land that extends out near the SW corner.
