Once you’ve accepted the quest from Shani, jump into a game on Blue Gate and make sure you have a good set of gear. While you can use a free loadout, it’s better to have strong weapons and healing items since you’ll be fighting some tough enemies called ARCs. Be careful, as other players will likely be trying to complete the same quest and might be hostile. Once the match begins, head west towards Adorned Wreckage.
Honestly, I’ve learned it’s not always worth chasing those super rare items that only show up under specific map conditions. Sure, they’re tempting, but those conditions also bring on tougher challenges like more ARCs and crazy weather, and that can really throw a wrench in things. Sometimes it’s better to just focus on what’s reliably available!
Okay, so when I got to the Adorned Wreckage, the first thing I did was scan for those annoying flying ARC enemies – things like Wasps and Hornets. Once I took them down, I made sure to loot their remains because they dropped two ARC Power Cells. I knew I’d need those to solve the puzzle on the Deforester that was coming up, so I didn’t want to miss them!
The Deforester is a large structure that’s easy to see, even from far away. It has an electrical panel where you can place a single ARC Power Cell to activate it.
When the puzzle begins, flames will shoot out. Wait for the fire to stop before running across to press the button. You’ll need to place an ARC Power Cell into the mechanism. Then, return to the original button and climb the left wall to reach the platform above. At the end of the platform, you’ll find a container. Interacting with it will finish the quest.
You can then return to Shani to get the following rewards:
