A new update, called ‘Cold Snap,’ is now available for ARC Raiders, introducing Candleberries! These special, seasonal items are central to the new ‘Flickering Flames’ and ‘Candlelight’ holiday events, giving players a chance to unlock unique rewards.
Okay, so Candleberries… those are a pain to get! They only show up during the Cold Snap event, which means you have a limited time to find them. And honestly, the game doesn’t really tell you where to look or what they’re even for. It’s been super confusing for a lot of us, and yeah, a little frustrating too.

How To Get Candleberries In ARC Raiders
During the Cold Snap Event in ARC Raiders, you can find Candleberries in two ways: by participating in the ‘Gathering Candleberries’ live event, or by taking advantage of the special ‘Cold Snap’ map modifiers.
“Gathering Candleberries” Live Event
It’s easy to earn rewards! As you play and work on the Candleberry Banquet, you’ll gain Merits and move along a reward track. You’ll receive Candleberries at certain points, and you can collect a total of 180 Candleberries by completing the entire project.
“Cold Snap” Map Modifier
The second way to get Candleberries requires more work. During events, some maps might have a “Cold Snap” effect, which causes Candleberry bushes to appear. You can gather one Candleberry from each bush you find. However, these bushes are uncommon and only give a small amount – one to three Candleberries each – so it can take a while to collect many this way.
During the Cold Snap event, you can also get Candleberries from Raider Caches, usually around three to five at a time. And if you’re really fortunate, discovering a rare nature basket will give you the most Candleberries.

What Are Candleberries For In ARC Raiders?
In ARC Raiders, Candleberries are mainly used to advance in the Candleberry Banquet Project and participate in the Candlelight event.
The Candleberry Banquet is a new addition to the game, broken down into five stages. Each stage requires a lot of Candleberries to finish. Players will need a total of 260 Candleberries, plus other items, to complete the Banquet and earn all the rewards.
As you finish parts of the Candleberry Banquet project, you’ll earn Merits. These Merits fill up the Gathering Candleberries Event Tracker, and it’s important to do so! Filling the tracker unlocks rewards like cosmetic items, in-game currency, and extra Candleberries, which will help you make even more progress.
You can also recycle Candleberries into two Seeds, but only do this if you’ve already used them for everything else.
