Where To Find Demi-Human Queen Marigga In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree

Where To Find Demi-Human Queen Marigga In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree

As a dedicated fan of FromSoftware games and the latest addition to their collection, Shadow of the Erdtree, I have spent countless hours exploring every nook and cranny this expansive world has to offer. The Cerulean Coast is one area that particularly caught my attention with its enchanting blue flowers and mysterious stone coffins. I was determined to reach Demi-Human Queen Marigga and uncover the secrets hidden within her domain.

The Cerulean Coast is one of the areas in Shadow of the Erdtree that can be accessed through Charo’s Hidden Grave. The area is filled with mesmerizing blue flowers and stone coffins that serve as an access point to one of the NPC’s questlines. This guide includes a step-by-step walkthrough on how to reach Demi-Human Queen Marigga and how players can defeat her to obtain the rare Katana.

The DLC’s main story remains unchanged whether you explore the given area or interact with its boss, as both are non-essential options.

How To Reach Demi-Human Queen Marigga

Players have two options to reach Cerulean Coast: One is by following Ellac River Cave downstream all the way to the coast. Alternatively, they can navigate through Dragon’s Pit and emerge at Charo’s Hidden Grave. To get to Jagged Peak, players can travel north from Grand Altar of Dragon Communion, while the western path leads directly to Cerulean Coast. Continue westward along the coast until you discover another Lost Grace.

At the western part of Grace’s Cerulean Coast, call upon your Torrent once more. Ride east following the initial stone coffin on your left. This route will lead you through a mountain passage, where you’ll encounter a Demi-Human wielding a Glintstone Katana.

You can summon your Spirit Ash here to deal with this enemy or ignore it.

To reach the Demi-Human Queen Marigga, begin by heading north. After that, continue northwest as you encounter several Demi- Humans along the way. Keep following this path, and you will eventually arrive at the shore where the queen resides. Overcoming her in battle grants you the Star-Lined Sword, a special Katana with an exclusive Weapon Skill.

How To Beat Demi-Human Queen Marigga

Where To Find Demi-Human Queen Marigga In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree

As a gamer, I’ve come across an optional boss named Queen Marigga, who is a Demi-Human. She may not have the most complex moveset and can be quite predictable. However, don’t underestimate her power! Surrounding her are pesky Demi-Human minions that can cause quite a distraction if left unchecked.

As a devoted user of the Faith Build, I can tell you that this setup offers an incredible advantage when confronting challenging foes. Instead of getting up close and personal with the boss’s minions, I prefer to keep my distance and unleash the power of my equipped weapon skill. The result? A swift and efficient elimination of all regular enemies surrounding the main target.

When the battle commences, I’ll notice Marigga unleashing spell-like attacks using Glintstone magic, much like the Sorceries I’ve encountered in the main game. Dodging to the sides will help me evade these attacks effortlessly as they approach. However, if I manage to get within striking distance, she can retaliate by slamming me with her fist or using her staff for a swift slash.

As a fan, I’d describe it this way: This boss in the DLC isn’t too challenging for me, but if you find yourself struggling against her and the enemies surrounding her, don’t hesitate to call for backup. Summoning Spirit Ashes or online players can make all the difference! Spirit Ashes are a great option since the boss’s health doesn’t increase, and they’ll be there to lend a helping hand. But keep in mind that online players might bring some of the best builds with them – depending on when you encounter this boss in the DLC, you could gain access to powerful strategies as well!
