In *Digimon Story: Time Stranger*, Digi-Jewels are very difficult to find. Because they’re needed to create valuable items like DigiEggs and high-level equipment, players are actively searching for more of them.
This game doesn’t always tell you where to find specific materials, so you’ll likely need to experiment to discover the best farming locations. Knowing where these Digi-Jewels appear will speed up your progress and let you craft better gear. This guide provides all the information you need to find the most reliable drop locations.
Where to Get & Farm Digi-Jewels in Digimon Story: Time Stranger
In *Digimon Story: Time Stranger*, Digi-Jewels are obtained randomly from material containers and certain battles. However, players can reliably find them by farming specific locations throughout the game. Here are some places in the Digital World where you’re likely to find Digi-Jewels when opening material containers.
- Central Town – Blimpmon Landing area; two containers can drop Digi-Jewel.
- Central Town – Spiral Waterway (Sewers): There’s one at the entrance and three more containers inside the Sewer dungeon)
- Central Town – Downtown: Walk the path from Blimpmon’s Landing to Warrior’s Watering Hole (Tavern) and loot the containers there.
- The Abyss – Depths: Loot the Oyster-like Material containers for a chance to get Digi-Jewels and Crystalline-Structure Model (another important crafting material).
- Factorial Town – Locomon’s Station: There are three Material boxes that players can loot here. Plus, it’s an easy-to-restart area.
- Cosmic Area – Chill Cosmic Crescent Moon Area: Looting the Ice Crystals has a greater chance to yield Digi-Jewels. On the downside, this is a late-game location.

Players can get more Digi-Jewels from Material Containers by leaving and re-entering an area, essentially resetting them. Repeating this process as much as possible significantly improves the chances of finding these rare materials. If you’ve already used all your Digi-Jewels for crafting, you can sell them to vendors for a substantial 50,000 YEN.
While enemies like GoldNumemon and PlatinumNumemon sometimes drop extra materials, including Digi-Jewels, these encounters are rare. Because they happen so infrequently, it’s not a very efficient way to farm for Digi-Jewels compared to opening boxes.
Once you’ve collected enough Digi-Jewels, you can visit Vulcanusmon or Guardromon (Gold) to create useful items, including the Digi-Egg of Miracles. This special item is needed to evolve Veemon into the strong Armor Evolution, Magnamon. It’s a good idea to collect as many Digi-Jewels as possible because they may be needed later, and as you play, some areas become inaccessible and materials become harder to find.
