Hytale was already a pretty risky game with snakes, bears, and skeletons, but the developers at Hypixel Studios decided to add dinosaurs anyway! They aren’t easy to find right away, but they are hidden somewhere in the game, so don’t worry about missing them.
On January 17th, Hypixel introduced dinosaurs to Hytale! While the update also included several quality-of-life improvements, the biggest news is definitely the addition of these prehistoric creatures. You can now find dinosaurs roaming the darkest parts of the game’s world, bringing a Jurassic Park-like feel to Hytale.
Where Are Dinosaurs In Hytale?
You can only find Dinosaurs in the Underground area of Zone 4 in Hytale.
Zone 4, aptly named the ‘Devastated Lands,’ is a dangerous volcanic area now overrun with dinosaurs – and there are many different kinds! Exploring this high-level zone requires preparation: you’ll need a Torch to see, strong equipment to protect yourself, and plenty of Health Potions, which you can make by gathering Blood Petals. Don’t even consider facing these powerful creatures without being fully equipped.
Dinosaurs Location In Hyrule—Map Location, Explained
You can usually find dinosaurs throughout the underground areas of Zone 4, especially between levels 30 and 40.
The screenshot above shows exactly where we discovered a Dinosaur on TopMob’s map. Because Hytale’s world is randomly created each time, you might not find it in the same spot. But it should give you a general idea of where to search.
Why Are Dinosaurs Not Appearing In Hytale?
If you previously visited a Zone 4 area before the dinosaur update, you won’t see any dinosaurs there. To find them, you’ll need to explore a different Zone 4, start a new world, or check them out in Creative mode.
When dinosaurs were first added to Hytale, there were some technical problems. If you had already played the game for a long time before they were released, you might experience issues when trying to interact with them.
Follow the tips stated above, and you should be able to encounter Dinosaurs, should you dare.
