As players delve further into the realm of Wuchang Fallen Feathers, they’ll come across diverse Non-Player Characters (NPCs) offering assistance. One such character is Nian Suichang, who you’ll meet prior to entering the Shu Sanctum region. He’ll task Wuchang with retrieving an elixir for his ailing brother, whom you might have previously encountered in the Revenant Temple. Consequently, your mission becomes locating the Shu Sanctum and acquiring the elixirs for Nian, but be prepared, as this won’t come without challenges.
Where to Find the Elixirs for Nian Suichang in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
Leaving Lightzen Temple behind, I navigate through the slender trail, hopping over streams along the way, until I arrive at the Narrow Stretch. Just on the verge of entering the town, I spot Nian Suichang casually leaning against a tree to my right. Upon chatting him up, he requests my aid in retrieving Elixirs from the Shu Sanctum for his ailing brother residing at the Revenant Temple.
In the game ‘Wuchang Fallen Feathers’, Nian will provide players with a Bone Whistle, enabling them to summon him during crucial boss battles. Following a dialogue with him, proceed up the stairs directly ahead and turn left. Continue along this path, and you’ll come across a reinforced Ming soldier who will aggressively target Wuchang. Overcoming this enhanced enemy will bestow players with the Ming Armor set as a reward.
After that, simply continue climbing the stairway located behind your supervisor. You’ll eventually arrive at the Shu Sanctum. Inside, you can activate the shrine and have another conversation with Nian Suichang. When you’re finished, keep ascending the stairs until you reach the temple’s third floor. To enter the battle arena for Feathered Priest – Lu Bingzhang, go through the doors on your right side.
Beat the Feathered Priest – Lu Bingzhang Boss
This boss fight can be challenging, but you should be able to conquer him if you skillfully evade all his strikes. In addition to Lu Bingzhang’s standard moves, he has two aerial assaults: one involves hurling a luminous red spear at the player, and another is a ground-pound that inflicts area-of-effect corruption damage when he stabs his staff into the ground.
Be sure to call upon Nian Suichang with the Bone Whistle during battle, as he can draw the boss’s attention. When Lu Bingzhang’s focus is elsewhere, unleash your heavy attack (R2/RT). If executed properly, the boss should become momentarily stunned. Follow up by delivering a devastating Obliterate strike to deal significant damage to the boss.
Continue using this process until you vanquish the boss and obtain the Mercurial Blood artifact. Then, go downstairs and hand over the artifact to Nian Suichang. He’ll express gratitude towards Wuchang for retrieving it. This will mark the completion of the Nian Suichang quest in Shu Sanctum. You can then quickly teleport to Revenant Temple to catch up with Nian Suichang again and visit his brother on the second floor in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.
