In the game Grounded 2, Mint Shards serve as crucial components for various crafting recipes at levels 2 and 3. Unlike ordinary resources, these Mint Shards are exclusively found in particular spots within Brookhollow Park.
For players aiming to create items with Mint Shards, it’s crucial to identify the precise locations of this rare resource on the map. Luckily, they become noticeable once you’ve learned their hiding spots.
How to Get Mint Shards in Grounded 2

In the game Grounded 2, you gather Mint Shards by smashing or breaking Fresh Mint. Fresh Mint resembles a tall, white candy and is scattered across different areas within Brookhollow Park. However, it can only be crushed with a Tier 2 Omni-Hammer.
In order to acquire the Omni-Tool upgrade, gather the following items first: one Ladybug Head, three pieces of Lingonberry Leather, and 2000 units of raw science. Once you have these materials, head to a Ranger Station and complete this task before moving on to locate Fresh Mints.
Fresh Mint Shard Locations in Grounded 2

In the game “Grounded 2”, Fresh Mints are strategically placed throughout the map. These spots are permanent, making it simple to find them if you’re aware of their positions. Here are a few convenient areas where players can gather Mint Shards by cracking open some Fresh Mints:
1. Location A
2. Location B
3. Location C
(Note that the actual locations would need to be filled in with specific coordinates or descriptions within the game world.)
Snackbar Wooden Table
At the front of the Snackbar, there’s an open container filled with Ice Caps Cold Breath Mints. Inside, you’ll find two fresh mints, while another one is slightly outside the box.
This version maintains the original meaning but presents the information in a more conversational and easy-to-understand manner.
Picnic Table
Atop the picnic table sits a secured case, combo-locked as (137, 514). Upon unlocking, it reveals a trio of fresh mints, spicy candies, and sour candies inside.
Near Statue
Just beyond the Ranger Outpost, you’ll find a ceremony area with a stately statue. Close by, there’s a big concrete block supporting a spotlight aimed at the statue. Near the spotlight, you’ll notice a box of Ice Caps Cold Breath Mints, with two fresh mints inside.
Brick Path
Alongside the edge of Snackbar Front and Ceremony lies the Northern Entrance to the Hatchery Anthill – this is where you’d search for the Red Soldier Ant Egg, used to obtain a Buggy. Within its tunnels, you can find Fresh Mint.
Western Hedge
At the far-left corner of the entrance area, beyond the Hot Dog Snackbar, you’ll find a Lingonberry Bush. In this bush, there’s a hidden nook – a tiny cave – that contains only one Fresh Mint and some Quartzite (also known as Brittle Whetstone).
