In Fortnite’s latest chapter, a colossal Turtle landmark has made its debut on the island and is associated with a mission. Here’s how to locate this new turtle spot.

In the heat of the gaming world, I’ve just jumped into Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1! This time around, we’re diving deep into Japanese mythology, with a fresh batch of NPCs, weapons, and points of interest (POIs) that are simply breathtaking. As usual, with each seasonal update, new locations are gradually unveiled on the map, urging us to explore them. For instance, there’s this massive Turtle giant lurking between Whiffy Warf and Lost Lake, just waiting for the brave to conquer it!

Instead of always appearing in a single spot, the turtle now emerges in one out of seven possible locations during each game, making it trickier for players trying to locate the giant. Here’s where you can find the various starting points for the Giant Turtle in Fortnite:

As you glide down in the Battle Bus, keep an eye out for a large, conspicuous turtle in one of these areas from your bird’s-eye view. If you have trouble locating it, it would be wise to move towards one of the alternative spots instead.

How to complete The Great Turtle quest in Fortnite

To finish The Great Turtle mission, ascend the Giant Turtle, locate and chat with an NPC named Ryuji. He’s helping the turtle combat its darkness and solitude. Upon speaking with him, you’ll encounter five Dark Magic Thorns on the turtle’s shell. Use your Pickaxe to eliminate them, then converse with Ryuji again to wrap up the quest.

The NPC will reward you with a legendary chest. Keep in mind that the quest will expire on January 29, 2025, so you have limited time to complete it.
