Where to Find Plant near Baron Husk (A New Type of Plant) in Arc Raiders

Even though players can spend a lot of time playing Arc Raiders, some quests, even later in the game, are surprisingly simple. One of these is “A New Type of Plant,” which you get from Lance. This quest asks you to find a Possibly Toxic Plant, and it’s one of the easier ones to complete. Here’s a guide on how to finish the quest and claim your rewards in Arc Raiders.

A New Type of Plant Quest in Arc Raiders

After you start the quest, begin a match on Dam Battlegrounds using any loadout you prefer. Since the quest is quick, a free loadout might be best if you plan to finish it and exit right away. Once you’re in the match, head to the Old Battleground – it’s a small area on the west side of the map, close to one of the extraction elevators.

When you get to this location, you’ll see a Baron Husk that you can try to break into and search. Just be careful – breaking in will cause flames to burst out, and standing on top of it will hurt you.

Creating a fire could attract unwanted attention from nearby enemies or raiders, so be cautious when scavenging here.

Close to Baron Husk, you’ll find some orange plants you can harvest. This will give you a Possibly Toxic Plant, which you can carry back to Esperanza. There’s also an elevator nearby, and if you have a Raider Hatch Key, you can find a Raider Hatch to the north.

Once you return to the main menu, turn in the quest to get the following rewards:

  • Vita Shot x1
  • Antiseptic x5

You’ll need antiseptics to improve your Medical Lab to Level 3, so it’s a good idea to stock up on them. That way, you won’t have to waste time looking for them when you’re ready to upgrade.
