How to Start Raw Leaf Porridge Quest in Where Winds Meet

The Raw Leaf Porridge quest starts in Kaifeng City on South Gate Avenue. You’ll find a small pharmacy stall and a man named Zhen Ping’an nearby. Talk to Zhen Ping’an to learn about his mother’s special porridge and his search for a cure.

The key is to speak to him twice. The first time won’t get you far, but the second conversation will bring up a trade window asking for a prescription. After this, the game doesn’t offer any clues or update your map, which is why many players find themselves stuck at this point.

How to Complete the Raw Leaf Porridge Quest in Where Winds Meet

To proceed with your task, you need to locate Dr. Fu Wenshu, the doctor who originally wrote the prescription. He isn’t inside the building or the pharmacy itself—look for him standing outside, near the water.

The quickest way to find him is to teleport to the Forsaken Quarter stone and then walk towards the river. When you get near the docks, look for a small fishing area with wooden platforms and stairs – you’ll see a few people there. Fu Wenshu is usually one of them, often wearing darker clothes and standing near the edge of the dock.

If you can’t find Fu Wenshu, try looking around lunchtime, as that’s usually when he arrives.

When you locate Fu Wenshu, talk to him and go through all of his conversation options. Once you’ve finished talking, the prescription will automatically appear in your inventory – you don’t need to do anything else.

Once you have the prescription, go back to Zhen Ping’an. When you talk to him, a window will pop up like before, but this time you’ll be able to give him the prescription. Hand it over to complete the quest right away.

Completing the Raw Leaf Porridge task rewards you with Echo Jade, coins, experience points, and progress in exploring Kaifeng. It also advances the ‘One Leaf, One Life’ questline, so it’s best to finish it right after you arrive in Kaifeng.
