Where To Find Raspberries In Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon

In the storyline of Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, “Enjoy Your Journey” is a significant aspect. This segment involves interacting with an unorthodox druid, who could potentially be influenced by a Maggot, and carrying out a ritual to enter his consciousness, where you’ll face a parasitic creature.

As a gamer embarking on this journey, the main hurdle you’ll face is locating the necessary ingredients for the ritual. Don’t fret though, I’ve got your back! I’ll point you towards where to find everything you need. Also, I’ll walk you through the Apocalypticists quest that you must accomplish to kick off Have A Nice Trip. Here’s all the info you need for a smooth ride!

Apocalypticists Quest Walkthrough

To embark on the “Have A Nice Trip” mission, you should first finish the “Apocalypticists” quest. Luckily, this one is quite straightforward. Look for Denholm, who resides in the northwest corner of the main village. From the Farmlands fast travel point, walk south along the edge and follow the water until you reach the wooden stairs. Climb those stairs to a higher area, and you’ll find Denholm inside a tent. Speak with him, and then consent to speak to Maggot.

To reach him, simply make your way over the nearby bridge, aiming for the fast travel point. After that, walk west along the path, cross the next bridge, then turn right. Enter the house and speak with Maggot. Regardless of the dialogue choices you pick, you’ll be granted access to the “Have A Nice Trip” Quest.

How To Find Silver Powder

The Silver Powder can be found more conveniently than the Raspberries, as there’s a designated spot marked on your map at the westernmost end. This spot is also known as the Forest Gate fast travel point. After you’ve cleared out the camp nearby, search and loot the crates there to obtain the Silver Powder.

How To Find Raspberries

In your search for ingredients, you’ll find that the harder one to locate is the raspberries. It’s rumored they’re found near the bandit camp, but I had a tough time gathering ten. But don’t worry! If you travel south from the main village in Cuanacht, you’ll come across a massive tree with a camp surrounding it. Near the rocky outcrop on the edge of this camp, there are raspberry bushes waiting for you.

If you retrace your steps to the Southern Horns, you’ll come across numerous raspberry plants scattered around. Alternatively, traveling to the “Ruined Broch” fast travel point will lead you to many raspberry bushes situated west of the Broch ruins instead.

During my coverage of the game, the amount of raspberries needed shifted from ten to three, and I can’t pinpoint when that occurred. Whether it was a corrected adjustment or a glitch, you can still locate ten raspberries by visiting the mentioned spots, making this change insignificant.

With everything needed for the ritual at hand, I’m off to find Maggot again. Let’s see what he has to say this time.

Should You Kill The Maggot Inside Maggot’s Head?

With all the necessary items at hand, Maggot invites you for a unique journey into his thoughts. To start, leave his house via the mouse-sized hole on the left. From this point, the path is straightforward. Simply proceed and you’ll encounter a vast opening. Rest assured, there are no consequences for falling here, so jump down without hesitation. Now, move forward to meet Maggot in a more literal sense.

If you possess at least 15 points in any of your stats, you can choose to spare the worm. In this case, the worm remains unharmed and intact, but there’s no tangible reward. Regardless of your decision, you’ll receive 2300 XP and the ‘Have A Nice Trip’ quest will be finished.

How To Save Maggot Without Having 15 Points In Any Stat

It’s important to point out that what happened next was likely a bug in the system. When I approached the maggot and eliminated it without interacting with it, surprisingly, I received the best possible outcome. This occurred even though I didn’t have a significant number of points invested in any one stat. Given that this seems to be a glitch, it’s uncertain how long it will persist within the game.
