Similar to the Strange Door Deviant from the game “Once Human,” this entity resides at your base and supplies resources for crafting items. Acquiring the Atomic Lighter isn’t overly complex, but players might find it time-consuming before they manage to obtain one.
How To Get The Atomic Lighter In Once Human
To get your hands on Human’s Atomic Lighter, you need to successfully finish Securement Silo EX1, a dungeon situated near the southern edge of the map in the Chalk Peak region. Similar to other Silos, this one follows a straightforward pattern – explore the rooms, vanquish adversaries, and conquer the boss at the finale. If you manage to defeat the boss, there’s a possibility that the Atomic Lighter will materialize near the prize chest.
Silo EX1 Tips
In Silo EX1, its brevity is a standout feature. You can quickly bypass everything except for the first large room that follows immediately after descending the elevator. This room contains a locked door which can be accessed either by defeating all the enemies within or waiting for the cell on the right to open up. There’s a barricaded entrance in this room, which you can destroy using explosives. If you’re not aiming to gather Acid in Once Human, you can simply avoid the enemies and make a beeline straight towards the portal that leads to the labyrinthine part of this dungeon.
Once you step through the portal located in the prison zone, you’ll be instantly transported to a spacious room that resembles an intersection controlled by traffic lights. When these lights turn red, it signals that you must halt all movement. If you don’t comply, you’ll find yourself back at the entrance portal. However, during the red light phase, you can continue with actions such as turning, shooting, and so forth, but you are strictly forbidden from changing your position.
What Does The Atomic Lighter Do In Once Human?
In simpler terms, the Atomic Lighter generates Split-Core Wick, which is essential for crafting Explosive Lighters in your Workbench. These Explosive Lighters function like grenades, dealing significant area-of-effect damage (increasing with your Psi Power level). What makes these different from regular grenades is that the damage output of Explosive Lighters is subject to a random multiplier. They may explode for the same amount as a standard grenade or multiple times that amount.
In combat situations with numerous adversaries, grenades tend to be particularly effective. They excel at clearing groups when you’re sanitizing Cortexes in your Once Human base. However, since many enemies usually die rapidly, explosives like the Fusion Lighter are best employed for pushing opponents out in Player versus Player (PVP) scenarios.
