Where to Find the Blasted Steps Map in Hollow Knight Silksong
In this game, similar to other maps, you can obtain the map for the Blasted Steps from Shakra, who resides on the right side of the Blasted Steps. The Blasted Steps is an area marked by steep inclines, powerful sandstorms, and strong winds, making it a challenging location that necessitates a particular skill to navigate.
Starting from Shellwood, your adventure begins at a bench. Proceed to your left over a succession of small platforms. Keep going left till you spot a sloping tunnel ahead. Utilize your Cling Grip skill (acquired in Shellwood) to ascend the walls of this tunnel. Be cautious as you climb up this shaft, then move rightward.
Walk upwards and proceed to your left until you find another bench. After that, keep going to your left until you reach Blasted Steps. Be aware of strong wind gusts that might make you lose momentum during jumps, potentially causing you to fall towards the sandy area below where hungry worms are residing, ready for their next feed.
Begin by heading right, navigating through a sequence of leaps and wind gusts, until you encounter an airborne foe with a red drill-like head. Advance along the path for a short distance, and you’ll stumble upon Shakra residing in a small cavern. Initiate dialogue with them, and you’ll have the opportunity to acquire an item for 70 Rosaries.
Apart from the winds and earthworms, the treacherous Blasted Steps present challenges such as Great Conchflies and The Last Judge, the first act’s final boss. Acquiring the Needle Strike powerful attack from the Pinstress early on can significantly simplify these encounters.
