Where to Find the Guard House Key in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

As an ardent fan of the Indiana Jones franchise, I must say that “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” has managed to capture the thrill and excitement of the movies remarkably well. The recreation of Castel Sant’Angelo is nothing short of impressive; it’s as if I’ve been transported back in time to the turbulent era of fascist Italy.

Indiana Jones: The Grand Expedition

In the initial section of the game, it serves as a tutorial explaining the behavior of weapons and puzzles. You’ll have two options here: stealthily move around the castle or confront your enemies directly. Regardless of your choice, you might come across the locked door of the Guard House while navigating through the castle. Use this guide to discover the location of the Guard House in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, as well as where to find its key.

Guard House Location

Located at the southeastern tip of Castel Sant’Angelo, you’ll spot The Guard House. Refer to the map on your right (just preceding the small chapel) for its location; it’s marked by a black and white arrow.

After leaving the chapel, Indiana Jones must climb to the center of the castle to get to the Vatican. Along the way, there are two stationary guards and one walking back and forth in the corridor. Eliminate them and move forward. The Guard House is located on the left side of the path. A guard is leaning against the building while another will walk a short path ahead of him.

Walk to the intricate door, and you’ll see that Indy needs the Guard House Key to open it.

Guard House Key Location

Thankfully, the key is nearby. Handle the blackshirt that’s resting against the wall by sneaking into the small area behind him. Take him out when the other guard enters the door on the left ahead. You can then sneak into the small office ahead and stealthily take him down when he’s staring at the wall. Look where the blackshirt was staring, and you’ll find the key hanging on the wall.

Head back to the Guard House door, grab the key, and turn it to enter this section. You’ll find an alternative route upstairs where you can use the guard house as a shortcut – just unlock another door to get out. Inside the Guard House, there’s a lone blackshirt and some revolver ammo on a desk that you can collect.
