Where To Find The Inheritance In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once you’ve wrapped up the primary mission titled “Speak of the Devil” in the sequel to “Kingdom Come: Deliverance“, you are free to venture and wander about the Kuttenberg region at your leisure. This area is filled with various side tasks and activities that you can initiate as you explore. One engaging quest you might encounter is called “The Heirloom”. This particular quest, I must warn you, can be quite intricate.

Your assignment involves locating skilled tailor, Mikush, who has recently gone missing. It’s crucial that we determine his whereabouts now. We’ll walk you through the steps to solve The Heirloom smoothly, and provide suggestions for optimal decisions.

How To Start The Heirloom Quest

To begin your journey, locate Svatava Mikush first. She resides westward from Bylany, specifically within the woods. The most straightforward path is the central road that passes through the forest, leading you to the Huntsman’s lodge.

Following your conversation with Svatava, you may learn about her husband’s situation. Nevertheless, seeking further details is necessary. To gather more information, make your way to Vendula and ask her, “Why did Mikush engage in a fight?” However, be prepared for a skill check that requires persuasion.

The difficulty will be medium, so you should be able to succeed in getting more information.

How To Investigate What Happened To Mikush

Upon gathering the details, I made my way towards Bylany and sought out Chernik. Though he initially remained tight-lipped, I knew I had two chances to crack his silence – a persuasion attempt and an intimidation one. The persuasion would be quite challenging, while the intimidation would require a moderate level of assertiveness.

If you’re not particularly skilled with speech or have limited points in that area, consider offering him 100 Groschen as a gesture. He’ll then guide you to speak with Drat. Keep an eye on your map for the designated coordinates. Upon arriving at the farm, you’ll find Drat seated prominently upfront.

During our conversation, you’ll find yourself facing three challenges requiring different skills: Persuasion (difficult), Intimidation (moderate), and Impression (moderate). Opt for the skill where you excel most.

Head towards the spot indicated on your map. You’re specifically seeking Mikush’s hat, which is situated west of the marker. Once you grab the hat, your mission will adjust to follow the trail. Follow the trail in the direction southwest, and eventually, the path will be blocked by a road.

As you proceed, you’ll spot a trail that initially appears stained with something resembling blood. Continue along this path, and you’ll come across some footprints. Moving in the general direction of southwest will lead you to a tent eventually.

You’ll overhear two individuals discussing their plans regarding Mikush. Sneak up on one of them unnoticed and take him down silently from behind, focusing on the one who appears to be more heavily armored. The remaining man is likely to yield after a few blows, instigating a verbal exchange. He will reveal crucial information, giving you the opportunity to eliminate him if desired, following which you can inspect Mikush.

How To Save Mikush

After inspecting Mikush, you’ll encounter three chances to test your skills. Regardless if you falter in all attempts, rest assured, there’s still a chance for his rescue.

If you don’t pass the skill checks, choose the option “I’ll be back” and then examine him again.

If there’s no alcohol available, grab some Schnapps close to the fire instead. Afterward, apply Schnapps or Feverfew (or even Marigold if you have it) to his wound as the following step.

At this moment, let’s administer Mikush a healing concoction known as Marigold Decoction. However, if it’s not available, you could use Aqua Vitalis or the Painkiller brew instead. The subsequent action is to dress his wounds. Following this, you might offer a prayer for him, but bear in mind that your success in this may depend on your skill level; if your skill points are low, there’s a chance it won’t take effect.

How To Save Vendula

After helping Mikush, he’ll request your aid for his family next. Swiftly follow the quest marker given to you. When you arrive at the location, a scene will unfold, followed by the ‘negotiate’ option appearing. Selecting this option presents you with three skill checks. If your skills don’t meet the required level in any of these areas, opt for the final choice to pay Mikush 100 Groschen instead.

After engaging with Hanka, the game automatically saves its progress. In case you’re unable to rescue Vendula, just restart from that saved point.

Instead of letting Vendula escape if you choose to, it might be more advantageous for you to defeat him since the battle shouldn’t prove too challenging. This way, you can potentially reclaim your money.

1. Following resolution of the matter, chat with Svatava, and later on, Mikush is expected to return. Then, Svatava will task you with locating the inheritance.

How To Find The Inheritance

Now, go according to the coordinates on your map which lead you to Mesoles. Upon reaching the town’s center, your search area will broaden. The inheritance is located somewhere southeast of the quest symbol.

If you don’t have a spade, pick one up by the handcart and begin digging. Afterward, gather all the items from the chest and hand them over to Svatava. You may deceive her by claiming that you found nothing, allowing you to keep the items secretly.
