Only a handful of armors are available for Atsu to collect during her quest for revenge in Ghost of Yotei. Some are earned through the main story, and others are rewards for completing Side Tales, Bounties, and other activities. The Crimson Kimono Side Tale is a quest players can begin relatively soon after starting the game, though it does require some exploration and unlocking of certain areas. How to Start The Crimson Kimono Mythic Tale in Ghost of Yotei

To begin this adventure, you may learn about the Crimson Kimono through a rumor from a townsperson. If this doesn’t occur naturally, you can proceed directly to finding Ugetsu the Storyteller. He’s located a bit northeast of Sakura Woods within the Teshio Region. He’ll share the story of a mother and daughter, explaining the origins of the Crimson Kimono.

Once you’ve finished talking, go to the snow sculpture on the right. This will cause some red yuki mushi to show up – follow them! They’ll guide you to the Abandoned Campsite, where you’ll discover a scroll. Reading the scroll will tell you where to go next: it’s located to the north of Sentinel Forest.

You’re looking at a rather large area, and your goal is to find the orange Mother-Daughter Tree. Don’t worry, it’s not too difficult – there’s only one orange tree, and you can see it clearly from far away. Go to the tree to discover the second snow sculpture. Again, some red yuki mushi will show up and guide you upwards.

Watch out, because you’ll be attacked here by several Nine-Tails members. Once you’ve defeated them, you can proceed onward.

When you reach the end of the path, you’ll discover an abandoned shack. The second scroll is located inside. Reading it will reveal your next destination, which lies east of Sarobetsu Lake.

You’ll need to locate the Orange Mother Daughter Tree again, but it’s hard to miss. Once you find it, interact with the snow sculpture nearby and then follow the red yuki mushi as they guide you through a small crawl space. Continue following them along the path, and you’ll reach an Old Home where you can find the final scroll on that floor.

After reading the scroll, you’ll discover another snow sculpture right outside the house. Restore it by interacting with it, and the red yuki mushi will appear one last time. Follow these creatures to the mother’s grave. To the right of the graves, you’ll find some rocks you can interact with to uncover the . When fully upgraded, this armor provides the following benefits:

  • Chain Assassinations can be performed with Kunai (max 2 Kunai thrown).
  • Enemy detection is reduced by a massive amount.
  • Kusarigama Assassinations can be unleashed from further away. The distance is increased by a minor amount.
