Where to Find the Sudama in Funaokayama in Nioh 3

In Nioh 3, shrines are essential for restoring health, increasing your level, and refilling your Elixirs. They also serve as convenient fast travel points throughout the world, making it easier to explore. Once you reach the Heian era and advance the story, you’ll need to purify three barriers. Heading south will lead you to the Funaokayama region, which contains several myths located on its western side.

If you go east, you’ll find a Shrine on top of the hill, but you can’t reach it directly from the ground. Moving forward from there will take you to the next area. Since getting to this Shrine might be tricky, we’ve explained how to do it in the Nioh 3 guide below.

How to Reach the Frozen Ghost Town Shrine (Funaokayama) in Nioh 3

Stand facing the Shrine on the hill, then go to the left side where you’ll encounter several enemies. If they come after you, defeat them. After that, go down to the area below where you’ll find a body lying near some wooden crates.

You can either attack with your weapon or roll through the boxes to destroy them and uncover a hidden passage. Crawl through this passage and go straight ahead. You’ll find a path to the right that leads to the Shrine.

You’ll find Sudama near the Shrine. He sells helpful items, including Sacred Water to boost your Ki recovery. You can also trade Yokai Teardrops with him for Craft Guides and Skill Texts.

If you continue and take the left path towards the Shrine, you’ll soon find a glowing Spirit Vein. Because you have the Spirit Guardian, you can destroy it, revealing some items to collect, including Ninja and Samurai Locks.
