Where to Find the Training Dummy in Crimson Desert

In Crimson Desert, you can practice your combat combos on a training dummy located southwest of Greymanes Camp in Howling Hill. This camp unlocks at the beginning of Act 3, and after upgrading it a few times, a training yard will appear with an indestructible wooden mannequin inside. If you’re having trouble locating it, we’ve put together a helpful guide to walk you through the process.

Crimson Desert Training Dummy Location

Begin at the Abyss Nexus in Greymanes Camp, Howling Hill, and go southwest. Look for a fenced-in area with a wooden training dummy inside. If you can’t find a training yard, you’ll need to upgrade your camp before it appears.

It’s hard to say exactly when the training yard will become available. We personally didn’t see it until after we upgraded our Greymane Camp four times, which happens a bit after you unlock the Ranch and Farm. You’ll find the yard located right behind the Ranch.

Upgrading the Greymanes Camp

In Crimson Desert, you can improve your camp by talking to Marius and looking into reports of Greymane. Following these leads will help you find former teammates, who will then return to your camp. These teammates act as assistants, and you can assign them tasks throughout Pywel.

Once you’ve rescued enough Greymanes, you’ll need to improve your camp. To do this, open your map and find Howling Hill. Click on the camp location twice to bring up the details. Then, go to the Missions tab and upgrade your camp from there. You can find a list of controls at the bottom of the screen if you need help.

To do anything at the camp, you’ll need supplies. You can get these by sending people on missions, or by donating resources directly – just talk to Carl.

The Training Dummy

In Crimson Desert, the training dummy is incredibly durable – you can practice fighting it all day without it being destroyed. Currently, it just stands still and doesn’t fight back or move. Using Axiom Force on it won’t do anything either. If you somehow manage to knock it outside the practice area, it immediately reappears in the center.

This training dummy is ideal for Kliff to practice new combat techniques. It’s particularly helpful for mastering Damiane or Oongka, as it lets you learn their moves without needing to find opponents all over the game world.
