Yet, not all these plants are equally easy to come by. Commonly found is Chamomile, but tracking down Wormwood can prove quite challenging.

Similar to the descriptions for other herbs in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the description for Wormwood is rather ambiguous. You might find yourself in the right location as indicated, but locating this elusive plant can still prove challenging due to its tendency to be situated off the main trail or path.

Where To Find Wormwood

In contrast to many herbs and plants found in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it would be more advantageous for you to search for Wormwood in the wilderness rather than purchasing it from herbalists or apothecaries.

The game Wormwood is typically found growing along roadways and open fields, as mentioned in its description. However, for a more guaranteed spot, I recommend visiting these two specific locations where it’s known to thrive.

1. Option A: You’re welcome to gather your supplies from the forest north of Tachov or the front part of Barnaby the Herbalist’s garden. Feel free to pick what you require from either place, and use it in any recipe you plan on creating.

2. Option B: You may collect your materials from the woodland area just north of Tachov, or directly in front of Barnaby the Herbalist’s cabin garden. Use whatever you find there for your desired recipe creation.

3. Option C: The necessary items can be found either within the woods that border Tachov to the north, or nestled in the initial section of Barnaby the Herbalist’s garden. Gather what you need from either spot and employ it in the crafting of your chosen recipe.

To obtain Wormwood from Barnaby’s garden, make sure to do so when he’s asleep at night, as he might not appreciate finding out you took it.

Can You Buy Wormwood?

It appears that Wormwood isn’t readily available for purchase from typical merchants. Even Barnaby, the Herbalist, doesn’t seem to sell it himself, and neither do the herbalists and apothecaries in Nomad’s camp of Trosky region or Kuttenberg City.

If you can’t find a vendor who offers Wormwood, then you’ll have to gather it yourself whenever you require it for your recipe.

To ensure Wormwood stays fresher for a longer period, make sure to dry it on a Drying Rack initially before keeping it around for some time.
