As a seasoned adventurer of the mystical lands in Black Myth: Wukong, I can confidently guide you through the next steps after vanquishing the formidable Guangzhi. The world is vast and open, allowing us to explore at our own pace.
In the game “Black Myth: Wukong”, Guangzhi is among the early mini-bosses you’ll come across as a Yaoguai Chief. He’s a substantial, wolf-like character wielding a flaming spear that inflicts fire damage. The battle against Guangzhi can be tough, but overcoming him grants players a potent transformation spell. This spell allows players to assume Guangzhi’s form temporarily, providing them with his abilities and health reserves.
After overcoming the challenge posed by Guangzhi in Black Myth: Wukong, some players might be wondering where their next adventure lies. Since Black Myth: Wukong allows for self-paced exploration of its vast world, here’s a suggestion on what to do after defeating the Guangzhi mini-boss:
Ring The Bell
Immediately following your victory over Guangzhi within the “Forest of Wolves”, locate the bell he’s protecting, as it is believed to be the first of three bells on Black Wind Mountain. Ringing all these bells will unlock the secret area for Chapter 1, providing access to an area where you can engage in a battle against a hidden Yaoguai King Boss – the initial chapter’s secret boss.
Immediately following your victory over Guangzhi, you’ll gain access to the region where you can then toll a bell to advance the plot.
Take Down The Wandering Wight
Step out from the ‘Outside of the Forest’ sanctuary, then walk along the primary pathway until you come across a solitary adversary near a small bridge. Overcome this foe and traverse the bridge where you’ll encounter the ‘Wandering Wight’, a peculiar green entity with an oversized head. It will be wandering around the open space, safeguarding the entry to a burrow.
In the game Black Myth: Wukong, The Roaming Spirit is an optional extra boss that players can encounter. You’ve got the choice to engage in battle with him or bypass him for a stealthy approach, leading you to a concealed passageway at the rear. Although not essential for advancing the storyline, vanquishing the Roaming Spirit rewards you with desirable loot, such as a fresh transformation skill.
As a gamer, I’ve learned that the Wandering Wight isn’t an easy foe due to his potent Area of Effect attacks and swift pace. If I’m not up for a fight, I keep my distance and dodge him when he’s got his back turned, making a quick getaway.
Head To The Guanyin Temple
After vanquishing Guangzhi and exhaustively scouring the surroundings, I found myself with an easy path: a tunnel. Regardless of whether the Wandering Wight had met its match, I walked through it. Reaching the farthest point of the area, I traversed an old wooden plankway clinging to the edge of the cliff. Engaging and overcoming the adversaries there, I arrived at the desolate Guanyin Temple. The narrative unfolded further, and a new shrine awaited activation.
At the Guanyin Temple, get ready to encounter a formidable foe named Lingxuzi, the Wolf demon. The battle against Lingxuzhi can be handled quite well, especially if you’ve activated Guangzhi’s shape-shifting ability. This power allows you to transform into Guangzhi, granting you an edge with fire damage and a fresh health meter.
