Where Winds Meet New Update 1.017 Released on January 16

Everstone Studios quietly launched update 1.017 for Where Winds Meet on January 16th. This update wasn’t previously announced.

We’re not sure if the PC version received an update, but we confirmed a recent update with several fixes was released for the platform a few days ago.

Where Winds Meet Updated to Version 1.017

Everstone hasn’t officially announced details about today’s update, but their public roadmap shows these changes are coming this week:

WEEK 3 (Jan. 15)

  • PUZZLE CAVE: MISTVEIL PRISON
  • EVENT: GUILD BATTLE PRESEASON
  • REGION: NINE MORTAL WAYS BASE

The PC version was updated with a fix on January 12th, and it’s likely that same update is now available for console players.

The Eastwind Pavilion has addressed several issues and optimized certain features:

– Fixed the issue with Custom key bindings could not be saved on mobile devices

– Fixed the issue of incorrect description of the “Fledgling” marker in the Swallow’s Bond event.

– Fixed the display issue in the chat interface.

Resolved a display problem with the Kaifeng map. Also fixed a bug where the red notification dot in the Engagement system wouldn’t disappear.

– Fixed the issue with PS5 cursor not behaving properly.

– Fixed the issue with Martial Games could not be accessed.

– Fixed the display issue with the Engagement interface on mobile devices.

– Fixed the issue with My Way Never Delays Ranking.

– Fixed the issue with exchange of item Gear Echo: Fieryheart.

We’ve fixed a bug that prevented players from claiming the achievement for fully exploring Qinghe and Kaifeng.

We’ve resolved a problem that was preventing players from finishing the Stonesplit Path Challenge in the Gambit Beneath the Shimmer activity.

– Fixed the display issue with gear affixes related to Arena.

Resolved a problem in Jianghu Legacy: Gambit Beneath the Shimmer where the subtitles didn’t match the audio.

Optimization:

We’ve added a new feature that lets Wanderers generate names in the language you’ve selected for the game when creating a character.
