With each new detail emerging about “Pokemon Legends: Z-A“, excitement among fans grows as they become acquainted with the game’s diverse cast. It’s been confirmed that AZ will reappear in a fresh role, accompanied by novel characters such as rivals Urbain and Taunie, along with Jett and Vinnie from Quasartico. However, one key figure seems to be absent thus far. However, one significant benefit for Pokemon Legends: Z-A by replacing Sycamore as the game’s professor is the opportunity to promote another well-known character into this fresh role.

Clemont Could Advance His Research in a New Position

In the present day, following the events of Pokemon X and Y over a decade ago, there’s an opportunity for one of the younger characters from those games to have matured into the position of the region’s new scientist, similar to Professor Sycamore. Among the possible candidates from X and Y, Clemont, the Electric-type Gym Leader of Lumiose City in the Kalos Region, appears to be a strong contender. Given his passion for technological advancement, Clemont would make an ideal successor who can skillfully blend scientific innovation with Pokemon care.

His gym leader responsibilities could be covered by his sister Bonnie, who might have grown old enough by then.
