It seems there was an unintentional error during the launch of Season One in Black Ops 6 that allowed players to retrieve their Double XP legacy tokens. This mistake was due to a User Interface (UI) glitch.

Through a post on social media, Treyarch alerted everyone about an issue that occurred during the beginning of Season 1 in Black Ops 6. A user interface bug enabled players to use legacy XP tokens unintentionally. This action also created a possibility for instability within the game, which led to its correction the day before.

In a more optimistic development, the developer has recognized the significance of the legacy Double XP Tokens for the community: “Understanding how valuable it is for players to redeem their legacy XP tokens in both BO6 and Warzone, we are actively testing solutions to incorporate this feature into an upcoming update.

Sadly, there’s no specific release date announced yet for Prop Hunt to return, similar to its initial appearance. The best course of action is to keep tabs on Activision and Treyarch’s social media platforms for any updates regarding the reactivation of Double XP Tokens in Black Ops 6.

How to Use Legacy Double XP Tokens in Black Ops 6

As a gamer, I can activate my Black Ops 6 Legacy Double XP Tokens by navigating through the Warzone interface first, then jumping back into the Black Ops 6 game to reap the benefits.

Players are able to use any previously acquired XP tokens within Warzone. If used, these tokens will also have an effect on Black Ops Cold War if you happen to switch games or game modes.
