Where’s Fletchling?

You’ll encounter and catch your first Pokémon in Wild Zone 1 as you progress through the story – it’s impossible to miss!

Fletchling is a Pokémon with the types Normal and Flying. It evolves into a Fire/Flying-type Pokémon around level 17.

Where’s Bunnelby?

Taunie will show you how to catch wild Pokémon and introduce you to another Pokémon you won’t want to miss in Wild Zone 1.

Where’s Scatterbug?

will hang out in the grass in the middle section of the Wild Zone near the court.

Where’s Weedle?

You should be able to find by the bathroom to the west of where the Scatterbugs are.

Where’s Mareep?

Near the western entrance to Wild Zone 1, you’ll be able to encounter a pair of Electric-type Pokémon. These Pokémon will evolve once at level 15 and again at level 30.

Where’s Pichu?

After you unlock the Rock Smash move during the story, go to the rocks near the Mareep and the western gate and use Rock Smash on them. This will reveal a pond and an area on the other side. To catch the Pokémon there, it’s best to approach it slowly from behind. There’s a gate leading to the Wild Zone close to where Pichu is. You can sneak around through the grass behind it to catch the Pokémon without battling.

Alternatively, you can climb the ladder by the pond and roll onto the roof, but be careful – Pichu might get frightened and escape if you do.

Where’s Pidgey?

Finally, some Pokémon can be tricky to find. The classic Flying-type, Pidgey, can be located by using Rock Smash on the rocks near where you find Mareep. After climbing the ladder near the pond, you can access the rooftops and find another ladder leading to Pidgey and a few useful items.
