Summary
- Jinwoo’s immense powers, including defeating the Demon King and Ant King, make him unbeatable in combat.
- Few characters in the world of Solo Leveling can rival Jinwoo, such as Liu Zhigang and Thomas Andre.
- Fans are eagerly awaiting Solo Leveling Season 2 episode 13, set to release on March 30, 2025, to see Jinwoo continue to grow stronger.
Over the last two seasons, the character Jinwoo from “Solo Leveling” has experienced remarkable growth, with viewers fully aware that his power is still increasing due to the system. Initially a relatively weak E-Rank hunter, Jinwoo has since risen through the ranks to become an S-Rank hunter, capable of facing off against some of the most powerful entities. In the latest season 2 of “Solo Leveling”, audiences watched as Jinwoo defeated the Ant King, a battle that seemed quite effortless for him.
Jinwoo demonstrated his full potential when he single-handedly conquered an S-Rank gate, placing him on par with the most powerful national-level Hunters globally. At present, no Korean Hunter could possibly defeat Jinwoo in combat. In truth, only a small number of Hunters worldwide could even challenge him effectively.
Jinwoo’s Immense Powers At The End Of Season 2
Jinwoo Beat The Demon King and the Ant King
In the second season of “Solo Leveling,” I witnessed a transformation in Jinwoo that was unprecedented. He displayed powers beyond belief and an unexpected maturity, solidifying his status as a formidable presence. With the acquisition of his Shadow Monarch powers, it was clear that Jinwoo would be a force to contend with. Throughout this season, he gained access to powerful shadows like Iron, Tank, Tusk, and of course, Igris, who stood by his side. Together, these monstrous entities significantly boosted Jinwoo’s strength, making him far superior to any other S-Rank in South Korea.
I’ve come so far, but I do not intend to stop here. — Jinwoo
To put it simply, it’s clear that Jinwoo is tough to defeat. He’s stronger than all his shadow selves, and this fact became evident during his battle against the Ant King. Although the fight appeared challenging on paper, it turned out to be less difficult for Jinwoo. The audience witnessed him reaching extraordinary power levels and effortlessly overpowering the Ant King. Whether in terms of strength or speed, Jinwoo was significantly superior to the Ant King, which speaks volumes about his abilities.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that by the plot’s progression, Jinwoo had successfully vanquished the Demon King. Subsequently, these triumphs led to another level up for Jinwoo, making him even more formidable. Presently, there are only a handful of characters in the Solo Leveling universe who can match or challenge Jinwoo’s might.
The Rivals For Jinwoo At This Point in The Story
Jinwoo Seems Unbeatable In Combat
Currently, Jinwoo appears to have minimal competition within Solo Leveling’s narrative landscape. Nevertheless, the story has subtly hinted at characters who could potentially match or surpass him. During the course of the Jeju Raid, Liu Zhigang was introduced, a Hunter whose prowess is clearly above average and seems to be in the same league as Jinwoo when it comes to power. Furthermore, there are other formidable figures within Solo Leveling’s universe who also possess significant strength.

- Christopher Reed: Fans don’t know much about Christopher Reed in solo Leveling, however, it is already mentioned in the story that Reed is one of the National Level Hunters. His overall ranking around the world is #3, and that makes him a very formidable foe, even for someone like Jinwoo. He’s most likely far stronger than the Ant King and given that he took part in the Kamish Raid, it goes without saying that his powers are class apart.
- Liu Zhigang: Known to be a master swordsman and a National Level Hunter, Liu Zhigang was seen for a short while in Solo Leveling Season 2, and fans know already that he’s a monster who doesn’t fear even the likes of the Ant King. His strength can only be rivaled by a select few in the world of Solo Leveling, and of course, Jinwoo is one of them.
- Thomas Andre: Ranked #1 in the whole world, Thomas Andre is said to be a monster in terms of powers. There is absolutely no denying the fact that Thomas is a beast himself and that right now, he can take on and probably even defeat Jinwoo. Of course, Jinwoo can and will still grow stronger. But, at the moment, Thomas is a level above him.
- Sung Il-Hwan: Quite possibly the strongest Hunter in the world of Solo Leveling at the moment, Sung Il-Hwan is above even Jinwoo. Fans know him to have defeated Hwang Dongsoo rather easily. His true power is far greater and fans will see more of it later down the line.
On March 30, 2025, at midnight Japan Standard Time (JST), Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 13 will air simultaneously on ABEMA and Tokyo MX. Excited fans can catch this episode on Crunchyroll, thereby contributing to the official broadcast of the anime.
