These captivating maps become accessible once you enhance your Gnosis to levels 1 and 4, respectively. A word of caution though, because elevating your Gnosis is a permanent upgrade, so choose wisely!
The Warden is represented on your map by an icon resembling an Illuminati-style eye symbol, as demonstrated in the picture provided. Moreover, he influences the weather within a considerable distance, so if you observe that the sky becomes gloomy and hear thunder, it signifies that the Warden is heading towards your position.
How to Beat the Warden in Witchfire
In the game called “Witchfire,” the Warden wanders the map, using a lantern to locate you. If he spots you, he raises his hand, bringing forth a gang of adversaries before vanishing. He then reappears somewhere else on the map after some time, providing a brief opportunity to outsmart him during each confrontation. If you don’t manage to defeat him in this short span, you must handle his loyal followers and trace his movements once more on the map. Apart from summoning enemies and disappearing, the Warden does not possess any other attacks or magical abilities within “Witchfire.
Getting noticed by the Guardian raises your Trouble gauge on the upper left side of the screen. Once it’s fully charged, the Sorceress will generate a distortion, offering you two options: either vanquish the summoned Chaos or utilize the portal to return to your own world.
Best Weapons to Use Against the Warden in Witchfire
An effective strategy for defeating the Warden involves stunning him first, then quickly dealing massive damage with a powerful weapon before he vanishes. The Vulture demonic weapon and Frost Cone spell make an ideal pair for this task. Use the Frost Cone to freeze him, followed by three swift shots from the Vulture weapon to finish him off, as demonstrated in the video below.
As a gamer in the thrilling world of Witchfire, remember it’s crucial to set up an ambush. Traversing an open field could lead to the Warden’s searchlight revealing your position. Instead, locate the Warden on the map and scout ahead to find a hidden spot or advantageous vantage point. Bide your time until the Warden approaches you. When he gets close enough or is nearly upon you, spring the trap to eliminate him.
A more advanced Hangfire revolver, preferably an M2 model, is another suggested weapon for tackling the Warden. Its explosive ammunition causes significant damage over a wide area with each reload, making it ideal if the Warden summons his minions. It requires just two magazines to eliminate both the Warden and his minions, as demonstrated in the gameplay video below.
An alternative approach to counter the Warden is to maintain a distance so as to remain out of his sight. This enchantment is crucial for enhancing your equipment, given the vast array of weapons, spells, and magical trinkets the game offers. Accumulating quite a few of these incantations will undoubtedly be necessary!
Researching (creating) M2 Incantations at the Workshop requires a substantial amount of Gold. Thus, defeating the Warden in Witchfire offers the most efficient method for upgrading all items, as it helps conserve your valuable Gold.
Occasionally, the Guardian may reappear when you defeat him swiftly following his summoning of his minions. This seems to be an error that will hopefully be rectified in a future release. In the meantime, feel free to take advantage of this glitch to amass as many Second Mysterium Spells as you can.
