Witchfire: How to Find the Missing Head

Witchfire: How to Find the Missing Head

As a seasoned Witchfire enthusiast with countless hours spent navigating its treacherous landscapes, I can confidently say that the missing head quest is one of the most infuriating yet exhilarating events in this arcane action-RPG. The lack of guidance and the high stakes involved make it a true test of patience and skill.

Apart from sections filled with enemies for Arcana enhancements, each map in Witchfire offers different events that provide a range of valuable loot. These events sometimes resemble quests, requiring you to solve riddles or gather objects. One such quest item is the missing head, which needs to be returned to its body. This event is particularly challenging and often frustrating because it contrasts with Witchfire’s usual fast-paced gameplay style.

For those newcomers to the game Witchfire, one of the difficulties lies in the lack of additional guidance. Therefore, let me share some crucial information about locating the missing head and the subsequent events:

Witchfire: How to Find the Missing Head

In the game ‘Witchfire’, the mission titled ‘Missing Head Quest’ can only be found at Gnosis level 1 (or above) on the Scarlet Coast. This quest is triggered by a chance encounter denoted as an ‘Explosive Package’. This event will appear on your map with a pentagram symbol. Upon interacting with the chopping block, the mission commences. To complete the mission, you need to locate and return the missing head in this location to receive your reward.

As a fan, I find myself running into a bit of a snag – the spot where the missing head is hidden isn’t pinpointed on my map. However, once I trigger the Explosive Package mission, a handy marker will pop up on my mini-map, just like in the image provided. This useful indicator points me towards the location where I can finally lay my hands on that elusive head.

In the game Witchfire, the exclamation point might blend with the graphics, making it hard to notice. Adjusting the brightness or rotating the minimap can help create a clearer contrast for easier visibility.

Look for the quest item marked with an exclamation point. It’s a red-glowing skull, much like unstable crystals, so it shouldn’t be difficult to locate. But hold off on picking it up for now. There are some crucial details about this quest you should understand first.

In the game Witchfire, if you sprint or run for an extended period, the detachable head will eventually explode. Consequently, you’re left with no other option than to leisurely walk your way back to the chopping block (or body part) where the head originally belonged.

If you sustain a specific level of harm, the head will likewise burst, which can be irritating because adversaries start appearing immediately upon collecting the head. Consequently, even if you eliminate all the enemies between the head and the chopping block, you’ll still need to handle those that pop up from behind.

As a gamer, when I notice that the glowing orb (which I’m assuming is a missing head) begins to pulsate intensely, it’s time to act swiftly. If it starts quivering and fire erupts from it, I had better abandon my current task immediately. Otherwise, I risk being reduced to scattered fragments due to the imminent explosion.

To successfully finish the Explosive Package quest in Witchfire, it’s advisable to pay no heed to enemies following you. Keep an eye on the warning arrows displayed on your screen and take a few steps away from where you are before walking. This tactic will ensure you dodge any incoming spells or projectiles.

Additionally, make an effort to move behind obstacles like big rocks. Keep in mind that the Witch often dispatches some of her spectral minions to chase you – these are the ones with glowing yellow portals above them. Interestingly, most enemies will lose your trail if their line of sight is interrupted.

Upon reaching the designated cutting area, you’ll hear a clear bell ring as your prizes are dispensed. These goodies will be drawn at random and may include a cursed artifact that increases your Gold, another Mysterium Incantation to enhance your weaponry, unstable witchfire crystals, and so on.

Try to remember where the chopping block is located on the map. You can also follow the white dot on the mini-map on your way back.
