With 1,427 Platinum Trophies, Here’s Why I Think Everyone Should 100% Battlefield 6

Okay, so Battlefield 6 has really impressed me since launch. Season one is almost here, and I’m hyped for the first battle pass and the new maps – they’re going to keep me playing for a long time. They’re also adding a battle royale mode, which is perfect timing. I used to play a lot of Call of Duty: Warzone, and this feels like a fresh take on that. I’ve actually been working on getting the Platinum Trophy, and I’m almost done! I basically speedran it in the first few weeks. I only have one Trophy left, and it’ll unlock just by playing normally, which is awesome. Honestly, that really shows how well-designed the achievement list is for this game.

I’ve always enjoyed collecting trophies on my PlayStation, and a quick look at my PSN profile will show you just how dedicated I used to be. While I’ve slowed down since earning over 50,000 trophies and 1,000 Platinums – two major milestones for me – I still aim to unlock the Platinum trophy for any game I really enjoy. *Battlefield 6* definitely falls into that category; it’s possibly my favorite game in the series since *Battlefield 3* came out in 2011. Completing all of its achievements has deepened my appreciation for the game, encouraging me to fully explore everything it has to offer and improve my multiplayer skills. Plus, the achievements are often humorous, unlock in-game rewards, and even offer solutions for difficult tasks, making the 100% completion journey enjoyable even for players who don’t usually care about trophies.

Battlefield 6’s Trophies Can Make You a Better Player

I’d personally enjoy seeing more players try to earn the Platinum Trophy in *Battlefield 6*, if only because of the challenging “A Joyful Nurse” task – it requires a whopping 1996 revives! This is a fun nod to Nurse Joy from *Pokemon*, and one of several references in the game’s trophy list. More importantly, it’s a great reason to focus on supporting your team. There’s been some debate about new players like FaZe Swagg prioritizing personal performance over objectives, which frustrates longtime fans. For veterans, teamwork is crucial in *Battlefield*, so newcomers should keep that in mind from the start to avoid letting their squad down. Working towards 1996 revives is a solid way to contribute, and while it takes time, many will discover that playing a supportive medic role can be just as rewarding as racking up kills.

Okay, so while some trophies aren’t too bad, this isn’t the only one in *Battlefield 6* that really makes you work with your team. There are a bunch of other objectives that basically force you to ‘PTFO’ – that’s gamer slang for ‘play to fing objective’ – in *BF6*.

  • Wrench Monkey — Repair 2042 damage as an Engineer.
  • Super Bomb man — Arm or disarm 5 M-COMs in Rush.
  • Command and Conquest 2 — Capture 128 flags in Conquest.
  • A Little C4 Knocking on Your Door — Deal 2000 damage to enemy vehicles with the Demolition Charge.

I recently went for the Platinum in *Battlefield 6*, and it took around 50 hours, which wasn’t too bad! But a couple of the trophies definitely stood out as tricky. “First Blood 2,” where you need 10 melee kills in one match, and “1200,” which requires 6 pistol headshots in a single game, were pretty tough. They’re fun if you’re up for a challenge, but if you get frustrated, *BF6* has a great solution. You can basically switch to an “easy mode” by playing with bots! Turning off cross-play usually gets you into bot lobbies, or you can use the Portal mode. I really like that the game lets you control how hard the multiplayer trophies are – it’s just another reason why the *BF6* achievement list is so well designed.

Some of Battlefield 6’s Trophies Aren’t Just Trophies

While the story mode in *Battlefield 6* isn’t the strongest part of the game – it’s been criticized for its confusing plot, uninspired gameplay, and unchallenging enemies – the developers have made sure players are well-rewarded for completing it. Beyond the standard achievements for finishing missions and completing objectives, players unlock special in-game items as they progress. Collecting all the dog tags earns unique character skins for multiplayer, and finishing the entire campaign unlocks a special melee weapon – a hunting knife. There are even optional challenges, like completing a mission using only melee attacks, that reward players with weapon customizations. Essentially, working through the campaign achievements also provides valuable rewards to use in the game’s multiplayer modes.

Unlike some games that demand completing every mission on the hardest difficulty to unlock achievements, *Battlefield 6* simplifies things. Instead of a grueling challenge, it only requires players to finish one mission – “Nile Guard” – on its most difficult setting. This saves time and avoids frustration, allowing players to quickly unlock rewards by replaying that single tank mission.

Honestly, the rewards in this game made pushing through the campaign totally worth it, even if I played it pretty standard. Getting those single-player achievements felt good, and then I could focus on the multiplayer stuff – grinding for revives and finishing up any challenges I missed. It was a great way to really learn how each class works in *Battlefield*, and I had a ton of laughs spotting all the Marvel references and even the jokes about *Battlefield 2042* itself. This Trophy list hits that perfect balance between being challenging enough to be interesting and fun enough to keep you playing. It’s a really satisfying experience from start to finish, and I think anyone can enjoy it, whether you’re an achievement hunter like me or usually don’t bother with those digital bragging rights.
