Is The Woojer Vest 4 Any Good?

I’ve spent a ton of time with Woojer vests, especially the Vest 3, playing games on my PC and in VR. So, switching to the Vest 4 felt really natural – it’s pretty much the same design and does the same things, but honestly, it just felt more comfortable to wear, even though it doesn’t look that different!

The Woojer Vest 4 may seem a little unusual when you first see it, but it’s packed with impressive technology. This vest uses six built-in sensors to deliver strong, realistic physical sensations while you’re gaming.

The Woojer Vest 4 lets you feel your games, music, and movies through vibrations. It works by taking the sound and turning it into physical sensations you can feel across your body, adding a new level of immersion.

I couldn’t wait to try out the Woojer Vest 4 with Battlefield 6. I connected it to my PC and paired it with my Astro A50 headset, and it really brought the game to life – I could feel every gunshot, explosion, and the vibrations of tanks rolling by.

My main issue with the Woojer Vest 4 is a slight delay that makes it feel less responsive during fast-paced games. Even using the low-latency setting in the app doesn’t really fix the problem.

However, this wasn’t a major issue. The Woojer Vest 4 is designed to fit almost anyone, and it was comfortable for me even though I’m a larger build (the battery lasts up to 10 hours). When using it with VR, like I did, you might get a little warm, but the vest is made to be fairly breathable.

The Woojer Vest 4 is simple to pick up, even if you’re new to this type of technology. It’s user-friendly with helpful setup instructions, and the companion app is well-designed and intuitive. The controls on the front are easily accessible, it features attractive RGB lighting, and the buttons are satisfying to press.

I was really impressed with the Woojer Vest 4 – there wasn’t much I disliked. The price is also better than the previous model, the Vest 3, which originally cost almost $500. Now it’s around $340, which is much more affordable. Plus, it’s surprisingly comfortable! Weighing about 1.6 kg, the weight is spread across your back, shoulders, and chest, so you barely notice it.

For VR enthusiasts looking to really feel inside the experience, the Woojer Vest 4 is a great investment. However, if you mainly game on consoles or a desktop computer, it might not be worth the cost. And if you’re thinking about using it for movies or music, you might want to explore other options.
